Default Should there be a rule against 'blank/stupid' options?

I've seen quite a load of polls recently, and most of them are good polls. But then it annoys me when they put options like 'Blank' or 'Cookies!!' or 'Don't pick this'. Once or twice was funny, but now it's just getting on my (and probably a few other people's) nerves.

So, as the title said, should there be a rule against it?

I don't know if there should be a rule against it, but it sure has gotten old...

You can't ban bad humor.

Since when was that a rule?

*cough*

I do believe there should be a rule against it, it's very stupid, imo.

In keeping with the forum's "freedom of speech" ethos, it's not harming anyone or causing any issues, so just deal with it. It's not the person's fault they lack wit :P

Finch is right. Freedom of speech does not only mean you can say whatever you want, but it also means that you are responsible for what you say. Saying "other/stupid thing here" does not harm/insert others, nor is it spam.

I don't think so.

People who make polls should be allowed to make the pill choices whatever the hell they want.

Not a rule, as that seems a little heavy-handed. I think it should be advised against, however. ^^

Let's sit back and think for a second.

Does anyone really care if there's idiotic options on polls? Does it matter?

No.

That would be a waste of the person who made the poll's time, and the person locking it. It's up to the mods if they want to waste there time @_@

That's your opinion.

Eh, i don't care either way. It is kinda annoying to see "Hahah I chose cookies " in posts. But, I don't think we need a rule.

Tombi's idea is pretty good.
