Bulbasaur Help on Yellow!

When I talk to the women in up from Misty's guym it says she needs a good trainer for her bulbasaur, how can I get it?

In cerulean city-

In one of the buildings, you will find a woman with a few Pokémon, including a Bulbasaur. If you have your Pikachu at a certain happiness level, she will give the Bulbasaur to you.

I don't think neither of them is true, you need to defeat all the trainers on the bridge then help the man in the grass on the left side of the bridge...

You are wrong.

All you need to do is buy 1 potion, make sure Pikachu is already at full health. Keep giving him this 1 potion over and over. Repeat this about 20 times. Your pikachu will just adore you, and you get the Bulbasaur.

Basically, what the above said. Ensure your Pikachu is friendly towards you (e.g. don't deposit in the PC, don't let it faint.) If it isn't particularly happy, use the method described above and return.

P.S I got ma bulbasaur ages ago and now it's an Ivysaur (Hazza!)
