You only need to stretch your arms tbh, you must have sexy legs :O

I don't lift weights for the purpose of "getting up" a shedload of mass in one go. My regime is geared towards endurance. So I'll do several sets of 15+ reps, all on a pair of 22.5kg (50lb) dumbells. That, or a pyramid, which is one set on 20's (44lb), one on 22.5's, one on 25's (55lb), one on 22.5's and one on 20's. The fact that you're not using a bar makes it harder to stabilise and so I'm not sure how that translates, I'll give the bar a go next time I'm at the gym I guess.

I know you're talking about literally "arm-less" people here, but I thought I'd point out that it's primarily a chest exercise, with tris as a secondary.

I know for a fact that I can probably bench 0, but other than that I can't say. I don't excercise. At all. Ever.

Mm, I know it's not much, but last time I checked, which was about last school year, I could bench press 55lbs. I'm better with squats, anyway; who cares about bench pressing. ):<

But it doesn't matter cause my doctor said that I had to stop weightlifting for health reasons, so therefore, no more lifting for me. 3:

Way to spam up a perfectly good thread guys. Anyone without arms physically isn't going to look in this thread. Anyone who feels weak, whatever. I'm not the strongest either.

I always thought it was mainly a tricep excercise with chest as secondary, but my soreness says otherwise. Thanks for clearing up my confusion

No problemo Mustang. I only know all this from living with a fitness instructor anyway. He's like a walking gym encyclopedia :P

Do you just lift weights to beef up, or are you trying to increase sports performance?

I do it for football. I'm a 5'7" 160 pound nose tackle.

I do enjoy it though, and try as much as I can to lift all the time.

This is just a thread for people to show off/lie how much they can bench, thinking it might impress people, which it won't.

On an off note, 300, 4 sets of 15 reps.

I have never done a bench press before.

But if I were to estimate how much I could do, less than 10. :3

My arms are frail, I can't really support stuff more than 100 pounds in a lying down position. :P

My normal strength lies in my legs, they might not be coordinated, but they are strong.

Maybe to an insecure few it is, but there are those of us who are actually interested in talking about it. Chill, Winston.
