Not everybody has played GSC. People like me. Therefore, HG/SS will be a completely new experience for some Pokemon fans, like the ones who entered during the Ruby/Sapphire era, like me. Still, I will say yes.

Ditto here, I've always wanted to play G/S/C and never gotten to b/c I entered the world of pokemon super late, so I'm gonna say yes. Besides, the graphics and things have gotten better, though I will admit I like the original main character designs.

I'm a sucker for nostalgia. The old-timey sprites and awesome old-timey music, plus the old-timey Pokemon animations of Crystal, win my nostalgia-loving heart anyday. That doesn't mean I'll take the Barney show over the cartoons I watch now. >.<

Generally, YES. But considering how I like nostalgic things, NO. The answer is Nintendo Entertainment System.
