Hoenn

The end of Cipher Corp was at hand. With the help of several legendary pokemon, the shadow pokemon were all but defeated. In the final battle between a large group of trainers and the scientists of Cipher Corp., a stray hyper beam struck the shadow generator machine, causing a massive explosion. while everyone survived and the Cipher scientists were apprehended by Officer Jenny, the story was far from over. When the machine exploded, it released powerful type energies, infusing each of the trainers with one certain type of energy. While the conciousnesses of the shadow pokemonhave faded away, the infusion of energies have gifted each of the trainers with unique powers over thier respective types. Some have changed physically, while other retained thier human appearances.

However, they were not the only ones. The scientists as well inherited type powers of thier own and have now escaped. And all the while that the scientists are abusing thier powers for selfish gains, some normal people are throwing blame onto all of those with powers. They seek to purge the world of these 'freaks' on both sides, calling themselves the 'Friends of Humanity', a terrorist group dedicated to fighting the mutanted trainers and scientists.

5.> Place 'De name's Gambit. Remember it, mon ami.' in your SU to show that you have indeed read the rules. If I don't see it, your character will be rejected until I see it in there.
6.> You may only have one pokemon type energy, ie., If you choose Steel as your typing, any powers you have should only deal with steel energy.
7.> Like pokemon, you are weak to certain types and in some cases you may be immune to other types, however you can still be affected in some way, ie. my character uses a psychic attack to hurl boulders at a dark-type enemy, and thus the target dark type can be indirectly hit and hurt by a psychic attack.
8.> You can only have one pokemon partner if you are a mutant. As a mutant, you are considered an outcast and therefore have been striped of all but one pokemon. Your pokemon cannot be a leggie. If you are a normal human, you can have 6 max, no leggies.
9.> You may only choose a type that other people haven't chosen unless you are on the opposite end. Therefore, each of the mutant sides should only have one of each type in thier groups.
10.> Make sure your powers fit your pokemon energy type. If your Steel typed, your powers are going to be more like Colossus or Wolveriene than they would Storm or Jean Grey.

Personality: Robert is a calm and friendly kind of guy. He's a bit of a nerd, but he is as playful and energetic as a child at times. When the pressure is on, Robert takes it in stride. He prefers dealing with opposition with his favorite Jedi Mind Trick, but he will fight if required to. He cares about pokemon and has a special relationship with his Weavile Lotus.

History: Robert was a budding coordinator from the Hoenn region. On his way to what would have been his first ever Grand Festival, Robert boarded a cruise ship that carried a bunch of unsuspecting trainers and coordinators to Orre. There, Cipher corp. began stealing people's pokemon and creating shadow pokemon in thier bid for world domination. Robert was one of the trainers who fought in the last battle agianst the Cipher scientist team.

It wasn't until a few months after he had won the Grand Festival after returning from that adventure that he discovered that he could read people's minds. later, as he experimented a bit, he saw that he could pick things up using telekenesis, even project a beam of psychic energy.

Robert began pursuing his fantasy of being a super hero, calling himself Jedi, based off of the Star Wars movies since he could now do all of the things a Jedi Knight could do. He even created a lightsabre base with a blue colored lens from which he could stream a beam of psychic energy through. While it certainly couldn't cut like an actual fantasy lightsabre, the psychic energies could make people feel pain as if they had been cut. However, even though he foiled the plans of a few armed robberies and other crimes, some people showed thier hate for him by trying to kill him, all because he had powers. It was a recently formed group called the 'Freinds of Humanity'. He later learned the the arrested scientists had escaped shortly before the forming of this anti-mutant terrorist group. Robert now looks for the other trainers that were on the island that helped fight Cipher before to see if they also gained powers and to try and recapture the Cipher scientists before more havoc occured. Robert left the majority of his pokemon with his parents due to the restrictions place by the government law, keeping only his first pokemon Lotus, a female Weavile.

However, matt has the ability to create Icy shards in his hands and freeze water around him.

History: Before he became a mutant, Matt was a talented trainer training to compete in the Johto League challenge. Matt had always had a natural tendency towards the Ice type, and most of his pokemon had ice-type characteristics. Matt's first pokemon was an Eevee who eventually became the Glaceon that Matt travels with now.

When he was training one day for the Johto league, he noticed a sign posted on an advertisement board. It was an ad for a competition taking place in a land called Orre. Matt was never one to back down from a challenge, so he boarded the next ship for Orre and soon he and his ice pokemon found themselves in the desert land preparing for the competition. The whole competition however was a hoax designed by an evil group named Ciphers. Matt assisted in defeating the Cipher corporation, and it was during these battles that he became a mutant.

Matt now travels with his Glaceon, and the two of them have developed a very special bond that can't be melted by even the most fearsome heat.

Usually he wears worn out looking jeans with a leather biking jacket and a black cowboy hat. when in ninjor "form" he is cloaked with a costume made of shadow thread (thread made from shadows) the costume looks about the same as a ninja costume. he keeps the shadows that form the costume inside of a large ring that he can pop open to release the darkness within.

He joined the X-trainers hoping he could have his pokemon returned to him with their help, lately however, he has become almost bloodthirsty killing many of the police officials iin his tirades. many times he has to be stopped by the other Xtrainers so that he doesn't kill innocent civilians

Ok, the solar eclipse thing is overpowered. That is not something a mere mutant would be able to do. That's something only a really powerful legendary pokemon like Palkia, Dialga, Darkrai, Cressela or Arceus could do. Your powers cannot extend around the world. At best, maybe 20 ft around you.

When she gets angry, she pulls into herself and wont talk for a few days. Her only releif from that is her Dusknoir, who is her closest friend.

The "tournament" began, and the Ciphers began stealing the pokemon of the trainers. She used her Duskclops to help however she could, and the Ciphers were defeated. On her way back to Sinnoh, she realized that her body was not the same. Her left arm and leg had seemingly disappeared and she had the power to see and manupulate the dreams and thoughts of others. She would also disappear if she leaned against a solid object and pass right through it as if it wasn't there.
She was surprised at her new powers, and happy, but her family wasn't. When she returned to them, they literally flung her out of the house and told her never to come back. Her father had thrown something at her, long since forgotten in Meghan's memory, but all she remembered is that it hurt. Meghan snuck into that night and took her most precious possessions, food, water, and then left. She has been a part of the X-Trainers for a few years, and her Duskclops has evolved into a Dusknoir.

Personality: Quiet, very quiet, will kill if need be, he is very fragile, and when offended the results can be deadly. Litteraly. He likes to oddly spend time alone in the forest (I wonder why!). Jakey also will follow his master's orders.

History: Kidnapped from his parents at a very young age, Jakey was continuisly trained to be a top agent of Cipher, the perfect assasin. He obtained a Gallade at the age of nine, and became one of the top students at the training facility. Jakey was present at the final battle, and when the machine was destroyed, he was infused with the power over grass.

Captured and having his Gallade leave him, Jakey was one of the best inmates at the prison, and waited until finally, his Gallade, sad at no food, freed his master.

Fleeing to the forest, Jakey found a large gem, and crammed Gallade into it.

The top assasin currently is in the Viridian forest, a long ways away from Orre.
