The boy is great, and looks like he did in the old games. The girl... ew. What the heck. She's meant to look like Marina from The Legend of Thunder movie. They totally changed her. =/

Crystal didn't exist in Gold/Silver, so they made a new character. I thought we wentover this in the other thread. :/

I loved the rival, at first when i was like 5 when gold came out, i thought he was a girl but you never know tho, might be one of thos He/shes

The rival looks like a less trampy version of the original. It looks like he has stopped looking depressed and gone and bought a flashy jacket to become cool. He also saw Mars walking by one day and decided to cut his hair exactly like her, little did he know she is a girl.

because the girl never existed in g/s, she made her appearance in crystal

I actually like them both. The girl looks cute and the guy looks cool. I always wish I could have the clothes they do. of course there clothes in real life would look weird. :( shame.

Lol, that sucks big time, right? We've known this fact for quite a while, dear. And lol, of course, Game Freak/Nintendo would mess up here and there. We can't expect any perfection from them. Just think of Bidoof when they made D/P/Pt. :P

Anyways, just like the others, I dislike the female trainer, especially because of that massive hat D: (if they change her hat normal, it'll definitely change my opinion about her) but tbh, I don't really care, as I'm going to use the male trainer on HG - and he looks just fine.

Awesome news! Serebii has updated with HG/SS details! It seems ALL pokemon are able to follow the trainer!
