As for when we're starting, I'm not exactly sure. I'm trying to wait for Kumori to sign up, but she hasn't been on recently and I have no idea why, though she has been complaining about her internet recently. Maybe we'll wait a few more days?

Lol yeah, well maybe we could start right now and just leave the sign ups open. Then if anyone wants to sign up then they can. Also if Kumori does sign up then Kumori will just have to read the posts or someone could tell Kumori whats happening.

Sullivan was born as a human 1948 years ago. He died twenty-three years later in the Battle of Mons Graupius. After spending quite some time in an agonizing afterlife, Sullivan was re-born as a Demon of Nightmare in the year 312 AD. From his re-birth, he is officially One-thousand six-hundred ninety-seven years old. His physical appearance reveals nothing about his age.

Sullivan is a Nightmare Demon. His abilities include being able to manipulate dreams, thoughts*, and shadows. In addition he can turn into mist (while in his true form) which can be used to creep under doors or through cracks in walls as well as into the bodies of others to induce possession*. He can turn invisible as long as no one is watching him. (Yes, it sounds funny)

Appearance:
While in his true form Sullivan looks quite inhuman, to say the least. While standing or walking on his hind legs he is eight feet tall. He often will walk on all fours though as his front arms seem as though they can also easily function as legs. His figure is often difficult to understand at first, as his body is cloaked in shadow. Sullivan appears to be quite muscular. He can boast an exceptional smile, complete with large pointed teeth. His eyes are wide and seem to glitter menacingly, and though they can be any colour at any given time all parts of the eye share this colour*. Even in his true form Sullivan continues to wear a bowler hat which pushes his long pointed ears to the sides.

Sullivan hides his true form by possessing the body of Elise Killanger. She is a young woman who became comatose after a car accident. She has long blond hair which Sullivan likes to keep in a ponytail. She has an athletic body with several scars on her right arm and leg. Her face is rather pretty, with light blue eyes. Sullivan keeps her dressed in a black three-piece suit for everyday activity. On her feet are a pair of black Oxfords. She also has a tattoo of a butterfly on the outside heel of her left foot. Sullivan carries a German swept-hilt rapier by her side.

Personality:
Sullivan lacks any form of empathy and believes that he needs no other being to be happy. He finds mischief to be very enjoyable but he also loves to see things get out of hand and become overwhelming (or deadly). Sullivan is excited by finding out things that are new to him as such information is rare. He is obsessed with knowledge, whether trivial or relevant. Though he enjoys short conversations he can be bored by drawn on speech. Those that irritate or enthrall him usually end up targeted by his fiendish abilities. The best way to avoid his unfair punishment is to appear unordinary. Sometimes he feels ashamed by what he has become in his death, but he usually displaces this regret with anger.

History:
This demon's story begins in the body of a human. This human, named Sullivan Lachlan, died fighting for Scotland during the Battle of Mons Graupius. Spent the following two-hundred twenty-eight years being tortured in his afterlife. After his spirit had been sufficiently tainted it was made possible for him to escape and free himself into the human world once more. He spent much of his first several hundred years plaguing the minds of monarchs and other high-ranking officials, causing chaos and war among the people. Sullivan discovered that this type of violence didn't satisfy him after a while, and he switched his methods to slowly driving individuals insane. His favourite memories of tormenting commoners are from the Buyid Dynasty during the 1050s due to the already unstable politics of the empire.

Up until the last two-hundred years or so, Sullivan's presence could only be felt by those he was focusing on. He has slowly begun forming a body of his own. Lately he has been using this form in order to terrify his victims, but one of his last 'attacks' led to an unusual discovery. He had attempted to drive a monster to insanity. This was the first true monster he had uncovered in all his time back in the world of the living. Until now, he believed himself to be alone.

Extra:
Please don't touch the hat without asking... Weaknesses include iron horseshoes and crosses (or anything else iron) as well as keeping on lights. Sullivan tends to keep away from mirrors and other people after he has chosen a person to stalk. Sullivan is unable to manifest his true form in direct sunlight.

*Will not be used against any other role-player without their permission.

Name: Xiac Kanoshi

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Race: Wind Elemental. (There are not many elemental beings in the world, yet there are few whom are. Elementals can control only one element. The Wind Elemental, for example, can manipulate the wind and use it how they please. They can also seperate their own particles within their body to travel as the wind, but not for long. If the particles are seperated for too long they may scatter into the wind. However, if they swap their own particles with the winds particles, they can keep the wind particles attached with them for as long as they like. Wind Elementals can also manipulate particles within other things using the wind to help them seperate and reconstruct.)

Appearance:
When allowing wind particles to enter his body, however, his skin turns to a dark grey and his eyes turn a light grey. When swapping his own particles, the body part which contains the particles turn a dark grey too.

Personality: Xiac, often, is a loveable guy. He can befriend people as easily as he can make enemies. He can get annoying yet he can be a bit of a clown, but preferring to be called a "Jester". He feels no negative feelings towards monsters or humans. In fact, he believes everyone's the same in their own way, and that being different can be a good thing.

History: Xiac has had a rough time. As a child he was neglected, and his foster parents beat him often. He was determined to leave his "home" of aggressive people and soon escaped at the age of 13. He was befriended by a wandering homeless man on the streets. He would teach Xiac many things, like how to find the best places to sleep, how to steal food easily. Xiac soon left, feeling he could find a better life, yet thanked the man for everything. Xiac had felt hatred for everyone until he met that man. He soon discovered his "powers" shortly after the age of 14. He soon found the Midnight Academy and was kindly accepted in. Xiac still struggles with his Wind Element, but still tries to harness it.

Personality: Kai is nearly insane, and often reckless. He holds little compassion for humans, but he finds them amusing, sometime wishing he could have as much fun as they do. He enjoys watching things not go according to plan, because it just makes things unexpected. Pride and anger are two two biggest weaknesses. Kai get too prideful, and this often leads to excitement and false pretenses. Kai isn't likely to be angered by much, but when he is, it's bad, because his anger is fuel to his own fire He isn't the type of person to shed a tear, or feel really compassionate about someone else.

When Kai heard about a school that would be filled with tons of people like him, he was excited to see how others dealt with themselves around humans. Kai had often tried to observe and cope with humans, but their insignificance would often lead to their destruction, as he either got bored or angry with them. He loves being a demon, but also hates having to hide. If he were in an environment that would help better understand them, and allow him to actually cope with them, he feels that he would be satisfied.

History: From the time Kai could remember, he was a completely evil person. He was only five when he set a whole house on fire for pure entertainment. Before he was demon, he used fire, a lot. He went to school for children who were mentally unstable, but that didn't help him one bit, because he felt that it was his nature to destroy cause chaos. By the age of fifteen, Kai had became a fully fledged arson. When he was about to be caught after lighting a fire in a small home, Kai ran into the house. He burned to death, and was basically never caught, dying at the early age of seventeen

His state of mind and sent him to hell, where he was set be burned in flames until his soul gave out. Kai lasted long, almost his whole lifetime, burning, but the flames didn't torture him, instead, he became one with the flames that burned into his flesh. He became a Fire Demon. His soul hadn't given out to the torture, and this allowed him to still be attached to the world of the living. He felt that he was reborn, and decided to expel his last name. Throughout his current years in the world, he found that humans became much more amusing as technology had developed and more crisis broke free. His chaos wasn't needed to watch the world burn, because humans were doing it themselves.


Extra:
This is Kai's pet, Tanebi. Tanebi is small imp that is the size an average human's hand. H can't really do any harm, but shoot miniature fire balls at you. He is often aggressive, but Kai keeps him in line. Tanebi can't speak English, but Kai can understand him clearly, when others would just think it's mindless chattering.
