Re: Need help with this sandstorm team
@GoldGroudon: Unless I misunderstood you, you said that Cruch on T-tar could be replaced. Crunch is a staple of Tyranitar, and can't be replaced on this set. The only move that could be replaced is EQ, which can go for Aqua Tail or Fire Punch. As far as I know, though, EQ is fine.
For Metagross, don't use Bullet Punch and Agility on the same set. It's mostly redundant.
On Rhyperior, NEVER use Rock Wrecker. While its insanely strong, Stone Edge deals more damage over 2 turns and a recharge turn screams, ''Come set up on me!'' Stone Edge>Rock Wrecker. Also, use an EV spread of 244 HP/184 Df/80 SpDf for a tank set, which I recommend. For its moves, use EQ, Stone Edge, Megahorn or Avalanche, and Stealth Rock or Roar.
Also, like Gold Groudon suggested, a Blissey will help take the Special attacks mercilessly thrown at Rhyperior. Try this Blissey set instead, though.
Blissey@Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Calm Nature (+SpDf -Atk)
EVs: 40 HP/252 Df/216 SpDf
-Softboiled
-Aromatherapy/Ice Beam
-Thunder Wave
-Seismic Toss
If you don't want to be walled by Ghosts and don't mind losing Aromatherapy, you can use Ice Beam over it. If you use Ice Beam, move the HP EVs to Special Attack.
@GoldGroudon and Versin: Yes, Heatran is a good lead. It can take out Bronzong, Metagross, and other slow leads. It also will almost always get SR up, too.
EDIT: Sheesh, Sebastien beat me to this as well. That's 3 times in 2 days. *Sigh*
@WeeWee: You can probably find somebody in the trade thread here who will give you a Stealth Rock TM. I have no idea who, though. Yeah, I know you scrapped this team, but I thought I might as well give you more advice should you decide to use it ever.
