Yeah, what about using the move Tackle only, and you let the gym leader take advantage of your mons, wouldn't it be much mooooooooooooooooooooore fun!?

Oh Mew, NORMAN.

It was long, but not hard.

It was basically the same thing every turn:

BRELOOM used MACH PUNCH!
SLAKING used YAWN!
BRELOOM used MACH PUNCH!
BRELOOM fell asleep!
SLAKING is loafing around!
GIRATINA PLAYED BLACK FLUTE!

...Loop as necessary.

Yeah in most games it doesnt take long due to the ability to easily win just by type matching. I'm usually about 3 or so levels over aswell, so that helps.

It took me about 1.5 min to beat Jasmine in Silver. It was awesome.

I hated the battle with Norman. My Pokemon were always underleveled.

Well, for the first Gym Leader, my starter Pokemon is always at least level 15 before I get there

Every other of my Pokemon must be at least over level 10 as well :O

I could see that happening. I've always hated the battles between Misty in FR/LG and Norman in R/S/E. The Gym Leaders in D/P/Pt were EASY!!

Who I really hate is Wallace and his Milotic Dx

If I didn't teach my Kyogre Thunder, I probably wouldn't have won :P

In FR/LG, I think I just hated fighting Brock, since I always use a fire type, I had to catch a Caterpie and level it up until it evolved into a Buterfree and learned Confusion :O

When I got to Misty, I probably already have a electric or grass type in my arsenal

First time I ever played Silver, I overtrained so much but I only had a Typhlosion. I went to Azeala Gym, and it took around one minute to OHKO all of his mons :s

Gym battles are easy if you have the advantage. Even you don't, as long as your pokemon are really heavy hitters, you should be okay. At least that's what I've learned. My pokemon are usually at the same level as the Leader's strongest pokemon.
