I use it to make pokemon for competitive battles with pokesav, and the TM's and Rare Candies and junk AFTER I beat the game for my own enjoyment, but no, not for beating the game. That's just lame. :\
And to all you people saying 'pokesav makes you a hacker lololololo', breeding is pointless in my opinion when you have access to something more efficient.

I used it in 2007 and it ruined my Pokemon Emerald game. It turned me into a girl, changed my name to random letters, messed up my Pokemon stats, and a lot more. Also, it's pretty much cheating.
