I have this collection of generic Death Metal riffs with a few gems. I think I'm gonna post them here for kicks.

Definitely the teeth. The vocals will be a kick in the eye.

Never considering them as an acceptable sign-up band just because of this post. :3

That is actually a very pathetic excuse not to include a band on the list despite it fitting the genre.

Probably not a great idea to mention a Metalcore band in a thread about Metal. :3

They don't fit the genre in the first place. Let's see what MA has to say...

Looks like Metalcore is their main genre, and they have traces of Melo-Death. Not going to cut it, and neither are you.

Dropping some names, because this page is way too crappy right now.

Noekk - Progressive Doom Metal/Rock (Mitch will love them)
Poema Arcanus - Progressive Death/Doom
Grivf - Funeral Folk
Dimness Through Infinity - Atmospheric Doom
Raventale - essentially a Ukrainian version of Agalloch
Eternal Deformity - Avant-Garde Doom (Andrew might like them)

I am really digging that ColdWorld album.

Red, I thought Syphilitic Vaginas was one of your favorite bands?

I'll go through them in a bit. I wrote a Death Metal song that I'm happy enough with, I actually have the balls to post it here. Just have to throw in a generic shred and all the hardcore kids will dig it.

Especially looking forward to Noekk.

They are, I just didn't put them on the list.

Of course I love Noekk.

Har har aside, yes, they are an excellent find. Enough like Opeth that I'm settling in well, but different enough that I'm not just turning it off for Opeth. Good job my man.

My new song, Zen Omega, is available here: http://www.myspace.com/bythemitch

If you actually care to listen to it, use headphones as the bass guitar and bass drum didn't come out as loud as I wanted. Enjoy my suckage.
