Default Balanced Teams: Post Yours

I try to focus on creating balanced teams a lot of the time, as they allow for better range. I also like to mix around movesets and try funky, new ideas. Post your teams that are like these here!

--- = will fill in later/can't remember and too lazy to check right now :)

My Team:

Wigglytuff
Psychic
Sing
Dream Eater
Rest

Tauros
Earthquake
Flamethrower
---
---

Blastoise
Hydro Pump
Hydro Blast
---
---

Sceptile
Leaf Blade
Rock Tomb
Pursuit
Hyper Beam

Still thinking of two more pokemon... suggestions?

Post your ideas here.
Rate other peoples ideas for balanced teams on a scale of 1 to 10 (decimals allowed.)
e.x. CaisyGold- 6.5/10
BobbyJoe- 3/10
TomCruise101- 1.5/10

Good!

Gimoo - Nice balance of attacks! Maybe add in a grass pokemon.

Max-Attack - Good balance of power and speed. I think it will work well!

Tory vs Meaty II- 20/10 - Doea nything else need to be said? A Magikarp throwing a hail mary. I think it will work.

All three of those pokemon are fully evolved. Slowbro and Slowking are two separate pokemon.

You do a very good job of having strong, balanced pokemon! Instead of focusing on one type, you spread it out. Although you don't have the widest variety, you have te essentials for facing most opponents. Good job!

Had to do a little trading to get Giratina...
Took a while to get Tryanitar and Charizard.

I can't take it anymore... :/

This forum is for posting actual competitive battle teams, not in-game teams. All the teams here are actually in-game teams, with only Max-Attack's being somewhat competent.

What seperates a competitive team from an in-game team is very simple. It is highly discouraged to have two moves of the same type on one Pokemon unless absolutely neccessary (i.e. Choice sets where you need both options of being able to hit hard and then immediately pull out or to stay in and sweep up, and thus things like Overheat are ruled out), and then again crappy moves like Blast Burn, Roar of Time or any Hyper Beam variant move are totally out of the question because they are retarded. Basically you have 150 Base Power spread over 2 turns, as opposed to 80 Base Power for two turns and dealing 160 Base Power of damage over the two turns. Also, all attack sets are crap without Choice Items, and all Choice Item teams can get their butt messed around with by fat enough walls. Like Bronzong.

Also, all 6 Pokemon with attack sets? Where are your walls? Even Choice Item sets also have a tank or two. And don't get me started on the sub-par moves. Stuff like Stomp, Take Down, or Slam should never be used. EVER.

Worst of all, giving scores out of ten is the worst way to ever rate a team because that just makes you lazy to say the pros and cons of the team because you think that the rating is good enough to exhibit it. Sorry, but that doesn't cut it in this forum.

Bring this to Diamond/Pearl: Strategy plox, but then again that forum is almost like this one.

EDIT: And yes, I recognise Tory's team as a honest-to-God joke team to mess with the thread, so I'm not touching that.
