Yeah the Orange Island Saga was the best imo. I stopped after battle frontier(BF wasn't that bad actually, it should some new ideas and he actually beats it) but it mainly do to it coming on so early in the morning. I don't wake up until like 10:30.

Funny how I never noticed that Pokemon has become repetitive... :X

I never watched the show too much, even though I did thoroughly enjoy the older episodes, but my watching habits began to falter at R/S (some of those episodes really sucked. Remember the Electrode who was also a WATERMELON!? Remember when there was a giant Claydol who liked EGGPLANTS!?!?), the show really started to suck there. I just stopped watching after the premiere of the Sinnoh season.

I believe that I stopped watching after the Johto/Orange Islands saga. Kanto was the best, Johto/Orange Islands kept the feel, and Hoenn just blew it. The storyline was screwing up, the same basis in each episode was getting old, and after Misty, everything fell apart.

Well, Pokemon have feelings etc too!

Apparently the attempt to make Pokemon more interesting has backfired...

I stopped watching about mid-way through the Hoenn series. Ever since then, the anime has just plain sucked. The Sinnoh series shouldn't be aired because it doesn't deserve to be on television. I'm surprised people still watch the Sinnoh anime and they're not sick of the same idea for every episode. FAIL ANIME IS FAIL!

I still watch it, just not by choice. xD Does that still count? o__o;
The story lines are pretty boring, I like the films though. ^^;

Because many of them are first timers and thus have not seen its repetition?

So tell me again why you are still watching the episodes? If you already have, I didn't get it, please clarify.

I stopped watching it after the johto season/master quest. I might catch an episode here and there for nostalgic reasons but other then that I don't bother with the anime, I just play the games.

I have watched nearly all of them. Just not by my own choice, my little brothers watch everything Pokemon. The only things Pokemon I'll happily watch are the Movies. I quite enjoy them. =^.^=

I agree, the exact point Misty leaves is where it all goes to hell.

The movies are still good in my opinion for the fact they actually have a non-recycled storyline. But the show... yech. Problem is, without the show, the movies become a bit harder to follow.

I stopped watching after Misty left, but...

I have, in actuality, gotten back into the anime a couple of weeks ago.
It really has taken a complete turn around, and has quite a few fresh plotlines.
I suggest watching a non-filler epsiode if you have the time. Some of them are quite good (especially the japanese)

I 'stopped' watching about half-way through Johto, when I found it boring and very repetitive.
But, I started watching the D/P episodes. Don't know why...

I stopped watching right after when Johto started, but for some reason I got back into it immediate when Battle Dimension started.
