What stupid things did you do?

In Emerald (my 1st game) I thought Growl did damage, and I got really mad because I thought it wasn't working. It also took me 3 weeks to figure out how to save I was only 6 at the time

Well, I`ve done many stupid things on my games, but this is the one I can remever best.

I had first got Silver, and I didn`t know about PC boxes. So, I played along and when I got to Goldenrod and figured I couldn`t get Eevee. I continued on, actually doing well untill I got the craving for Eevee. Then I re-stared... my I add I had the guide book!

In Ruby, I put two guys in the daycare and started cycling, waiting for the man to move forward to give me an egg. After about 20 minutes I was like what is going on....


Turns out both my Pokemon were male and I didn;t check for some reason.

Recieving my Japanese Ruby before it was released anywhere else and wondering why some of my attacks didn't do damage. I thought the Japanese game was different to the other games.

Haha! When a friend of mine first got Gold Version in japanese, he started with Cyndaquil and we just couldent work out what smokescreen did for ages haha.

I remember using my Master Ball on a Pidgey (the first time I ever got a M.Ball). Also I used to call attacks that did no damage "nothing moves" because I didn't understand the concept of raising/lowering stats and thought they did nothing. x3;;

Lol. I played Red before Yellow so I followed the Red plot for Yellow, and got the Pikachu. As I expected.


And I never had to worry, because I knew from the start how to save. It was just whether it would save. Save files have been deleted due to this.

My stupidest move ever? Not bringing out my level 90+ Blaziken while training, and I ended up getting owned by a level 30+ Tentacool. Lost half my money, and that was after an entire hour plus of game time...

Oh even more wrong, I never got the master ball in saphire! You had to get it in the team aqua base, I went through the base, but never picked up the master ball. Later, the base closed up so I could never get it! I wondered why I never had a master ball to catch kyogre(I killed it too..) or rayquaza(caught it with timer balls)I later learned that you got it there...

I didn't know what deposit meant, so I deposited my Bayleef and cried not knowing how to get it back.

I had 2 Shinys in my Sapphire when I was younger,and I didn't know what they were worth.So I restarted the game. -_-

I released Suicune accidentally, mistaking it for a Pikachu.

I released my shiny Gyarados in Gold Version, it took me forever to find a shiny one :\ It took up valuable PC space in box1

I released a shiny Golbat because it wouldn't evolve. After that I realized that it had to evolve from friend ship evolution.
