Apparently there are many people who would love to refute what you said about a Blaziken beating an Infernape... :P

Blaziken. It just looks cooler in my opinion. =/ And I'm not very fond of monkeys.

Well, it depends.
They are both fighting and fire type, but I think when it comes to their looks, they differ.

Stop talking about their looks when it's clear that we're talking about using them in competitive battles...

But which one looks better to you?

No problem talking about looks. I mean, ya gotta like your pokémon, so looks matter to a point. But, yes, I am more interested in the differences in regards to competitive battling. It seems Infernape is winning that battle.

Speaking of battling, which one would be better for doubles battling? I'm still leaning towards Infernape, but which nature and all that? Any more advice?

I believe that you wouldn't care about looks, like me, as you never mentioned about how Blaziken or Infernape in the first post of this thread. Maybe others will, but right now we're talking about you in this case, and I'm pretty sure you won't.

How about moving this to the polls section.

Lucario would make quick work of these wannabes, both at the same time, but for the purposes of this poll, Blaziken wins.

I prefer Blaziken, and I'd like to think since it's a heavier hitter, Blaziken would be better in fights. Aerial Ace always seemed like an awesome Blaziken move to me.

No. Both would seriously own Lucario because of the type advantage. Fire and Fighting.

Lol I agree. But for the sake of this thread, Blaziken was more original and looks way cooler. I don't really like monkeys, but fire monkeys are just a total disgrace. Whilst Infernape may be faster, he just isn't better.

Well it all depends on the moves used, in 1 vs 1 blaziken could use stat-up move and Infernape could encore it and own.

But in reality Blaziken winsssssss.

Infernape outspeeds and OHKOs with Close Combat. gg.

Blaziken speed ties. Lucario can OHKO with Earthquake, and Blaziken OHKOs back with Blaze Kick, Flamethrower, or Close Combat or Brick Break.

Infernape > Blaziken

There's a reason why there are so many Infernape in the URPG. 8D

Fire Monkeys are really awesome. Sun WuKong > Fire Chicken. >DDDDD

Infernape basically has everything that's viable on Blaziken and then some. And before you talk about Endure/Reversalling Lucario can do it better than Blaziken. Yeah.

Did you know that Lucario is even more frail than Infernape? 8D

Lucario has no STAB with Earthquake. It can't beat Infernape or Blaziken.
