Re: Red/Blue/Yellow Game Discussion
I'm wondering how most of you guys play. Do you make a balanced team and keep their levels about the same? Or do you plow through the game with one Level 100 Pokemon (probably a starter)
I personally make a well-balanced team..

Re: Red/Blue/Yellow Game Discussion
I plow through with like 2 or 3 high level pokes, usually my starter and 2 or 3 others i pick up. I use the other slots in my party for HM slaves. Farfetch'd is a good one. The game is just too easy to bother with more pokemon than that. Waste of time. Some day i should try going through and keeping my pokemon at low levels just to milk some aspect of strategy.

Re: Red/Blue/Yellow Game Discussion
I don't think there's any way to do such a thing. You could make it never leave, i think, by trading a pokemon that already has cut. You wouldn't even need to go on the boat at all.
I'm pretty sure that's the most mischief you're gonna be able to cause with the SS Anne.

Re: Red/Blue/Yellow Game Discussion
I did that by using pokemon stadium. But anyway heres my team from yellow, I only remember three of their lvls.
Pigeot: 100
Kabutops: 94
Mewtwo: 87
Pikachu
Alakazam
Articono
This team is the best I ever created, I battles many of my friends and whooped em! Sadly I know my pikachu was the weakest, but my Pigeot seemed to lvl up really fast as well with other bird pokemon I had. My friends saw this and let me take care fo their bird pokemon for a day and so on.

Re: Red/Blue/Yellow Game Discussion
Ok team, but replace dutrio's scratch with the tm rock slide (you get it from giving the little girl on celadon mall either lemonade, soda pop, or ice water. I forget which one gives what. Just buy all three and give her one of each to get rock slide, ice beam and tri attack )
My Awsome Blue Team:
Fire Spin, Flamethrower, Hyper Beam, Fly
 Rock Slide, Earthquake, Slash, Fissure
 Psychic, Psywave, Dream Eater, Reflect
Razor Leaf, Toxic, Wrap, Sleep Powder
Ice Beam, Surf, Confuse Ray, Horn Drill
Thunder Bolt, Thunder Wave, Thunder, Sand Attack
Does anyone like victreebel besides me?

Re: Red/Blue/Yellow Game Discussion
I like Victreebell in fact its a favourate of mine, people should use it more (not trying to be rude and if you already do use it good for you) because its powerful a good grass type and lets admit it its eaaasy to get and i use it myself.

You have to go to Cerulean City ( is it spelled like that??) and then go east. Keep going east, and when you can, surf on the little strip of water, and then you should be there.

you know, i had victreebell the last time i played blue, and i didn't find it very useful. mind you, i raised it diligently from its bellsprout days and leveled it up just as well as the rest of my pokemon, but it didn't hold out very well against the elite four.
