You may want to consider adding a poll, seeing how this is a board for polls; not to mention have more room for consideration(s). Better yet, this should be moved to Other: Games/Cards sub-board to add relevance and general discussion regarding Animal Crossing.

To answer your question, I've considered getting into Animal Crossing, but I still have other games to purchase this fiscal year.

At the moment that you were typing that message, I was typing the poll. Thanks anyway though, and it's nice to know your thoughts.

I, for one, will be purchasing Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Meh. Gets boring after about a week. In the previous game, all I wanted to do was get some money so I could get a bigger house so I could fit in all of my dancing -oids. I had no other goals. It got tedious.

Unless there's something much more fun in the next game, like you can get an occupation, it's a definite NO.

Well technicaly my sister will probably be buying it, but I will still be able to play it. I'm also iffy on whether this game has enough improvements to warrant 50 dollars, but even so I will still probably enjoy it.

Yes of course, it's Animal Crossing! And with being online there is even more reason to have it now...

Got Wild World... hated it with a passion for the following reasons:
  • No objectives
  • No plot
  • No end
  • Irritating characters
  • No character improvement
  • Ambiguous setting
  • Too much scavenging
  • Menial tasks
  • Overly cute presentation
  • Harasses you for not playing (merits my middle finger)
  • Harasses you for not saving (WTF?)

Don't mind me saying, but I can't possibly understand why anyone likes these games.

Answer is no.

I could make a list just the same for Gears of War.
Difference in opinion, I guess.
