Absolutely fantastic. You've definitely captured Neo Winterfield perfectly.

And Dragonforce's Through the Fire and Flames is always a fantastic pick for music. You have good taste, amigo.

I figured Through the Fire and Flames would be a perfect theme for Neo. I have a theme picked out for rust too, that I'll be using when he gets a one-on-one with Diabora later in the fic.

I always write in third person. Except in my short stories, but those are in an altogether different style. xP

Hasn't he always been? I am not sure about Neo but you were raised in the city while Mike was raised on Cinnabar. Neo I believe was raised on Maville. haha

Cinnabar was a tourist resort, it was never in the country. There really isn't a place 'in the country' in Pokemon... >_>

haha That is true. haha

Yes there is a place 'in the country' in Pokemon. That town where you breed pokemon and catch unowns in Sinnoh. I can't spell it for the heck of me so I just describe it. haha Also that Miltank place in Jotho (North of the gym with steel type pokemon town is) is also 'in the country'.
