For me, it depends on the homework. Like book reports and essays, I hate those. But science projects are pretty cool, and I don't mind the daily review homework to get what you learned imprinted in your brain.

I dislike homework, but what can we do about it...

Though it depends on what I have to do.

I support it. I don't like it, and I don't really need "extra practice", but it is a really easy portion of your grade. =/

I am decidedly in support of homework, with the caveat that it promotes intellectual rigor and mental discipline. Schools these days--particularly public ones--have dropped the classical education in favor of a busy-work oriented approach that focuses on test scores and benchmarks. Ideally, a good student should be able to handle standardized tests instinctively.

There is far too much mollycoddling of ineptitude; teachers should not be afraid to make a bad assignment bleed with red ink. They ought to promote healthy competition and decided growth, as a learned polity is the best sort.

I support homework. It makes me feel more confident and makes me more thorough in something- whether or not I understand it.

Stop whining about homework on a Pokemon forum and go do it.

If you have the material down, then you should have no trouble doing the homework.
If you have the material down than there's no point of doing HW.
I dont support HW. I think only people who NEED it(failing, etc.) should do it. Otherwise I dont see the point of it.

Hmn. Neither.

I dislike homework, but as I'm doing my GCSE's, it makes up for a huge chunk of your grades, so you kinda need to do it. =/

I endorse homework.

Homework, although 99.9% of the time
not entertaining, has made people become
doctors, presidents, and college professors.

Without homework, the certain necessities
and luxuries of life we have now would never
have been created, and life as we know it
would be a lot different.

The human race would probably go back
to its barbaric ways.

Think back to the hundred-year war.

The Renaissance. (sp?)

We'd be back in a time before guns.

And who makes the decision that you "have the material down"? You?

Also, don't tell me homework is just a waste of time. Joining a Pokemon forum is just as much a time waster as homework is.

Same here, i'm horrible with projects that are split up into different parts and have different due dates (like the social studies project that i'm doing bad on right now, lol). but regular bookwork or worksheets i speed through like it's second nature to me.
