Default Anyone read 'Antigone'?

I have weird style of brainstorming. All I do is rant at people until I give myself good ideas. Problem is, there's this funky switch in my brain that won't move unless the other person's read the book, too. So I vote this here thread is converted into an in-depth discussion of Sophocles' play, 'Antigone.' I need to brainstorm essay ideas and I don't know anyone IRL (besides school friends, who are too busy with their lives to ever sign onto AIM, xD, and brainstorming doesn't work out loud) who's read it.

.... Yes, this topic is basically an egoistic (NO, I don't mean egotistic) request for random people who've read Antigone to let me blabber nonsensically at them. I've no idea if it'll work or not, but it's worth a try.

I've read this. :o

It's been a while, but I should remember enough to prove useful...

Rant to me!

Yep. We're reading Antigone in English soon, though. I read Antigone over the Summer for an Honors First thing, where I gave up a day in my Summer to go over the book...

I think it's a good idea for some of these books to be read, because when we get Middle school or High school age, we need to focus upon our morals. What do we really believe? What is right? What is wrong? What is honorable? What is noble? That's what I believe, have believed, and will continue to believe.

*chuckle* Wrapped up in finishing my Antigone essay as I was, I completely forgot about this topic. Thanks for the offers~

And yeah, A Requiem of Verities, I agree completely. ^.^ Middle School is when everything in life first starts to become... relevant in the minds of many; high school is when that relevance itself becomes relevant. Alot of that hinges on moral stand-points.
