Electives/After School Activities/School Sports
What electives did you all pick? Did you have any after school activities? Join any school sports?
I only get one elective this year this year since I'm a Sevvy, and I chose French/Spanish. I already feel like I've learned so much in there, and I've only been in Junior High for three days. My after school activity is my sport, so yeah.
I am trying out for the wrestling team, so I've been training. 100 push-ups a day, weight training, stuff like that.

Re: Electives/After School Activities/School Sports
I have Band. :D It's going to be my fifth year, but this is my first year being in the marching band. I have a whole new respect for the marching band, I never knew it could be so tiring. D:
I wish I could say I was taking Spanish as an elective, but I can't, it's mandatory. Just two more years, just two more years...
And good luck in trying out for the wrestling team, celebihunter. =)

Re: Electives/After School Activities/School Sports
I forgot all of mine, but I'll post the ones that I remember. =P
For my foreign language, I chose Spanish. I'm taking Digital Photogrpahy, Foods/Cooking/Home Ec/Whatever they call it now, and I forgot my other two. I think I have Typing (Mandatory :/), and I think I have video and media, which I've heard is more of an acting class instead of editing videos and stuff.

Not a lot of stuff.
I have Intramurals, which is After School Sports. I'm starting Chorus next Wednesday (Yippee!) Also, I was nominated by the school district for something called Tech Wizards. I'm going to own and win everything. :P

Re: Electives/After School Activities/School Sports
I took Gym because everyone takes gym, who doesn't want to run around for a good 30 min. and have fun. Then I took "Reading for Enjoyment" aka Reading for Deppresion as everyone calls it including me, because it was the easiest grade, but I wanted to take Spanish. Then for afterschool activities, I run Cross Country, a good 4-5 miles every day, and then I'll do Track in the Spring.

Re: Electives/After School Activities/School Sports
Electives:
Spanish IV - Like some Spanish teachers, my Spanish teacher this year (and last year's one) make the class seem a little less boring than some think. Still, there are those one or two students that try dullifying the class...
Writing & Research - I wanna stab this teacher, but this is the best class to have for the first semester. Primarily because she walks through a research paper that is due in my AP World History class after winter break. xD
After School:
GSA - a.k.a. Gay-Straight Alliance. Pretty cool place to hang out after school on Tuesday because we talk about most of the problems that gay people 'can' have, and the reasons why straight people 'usually' flame them. >>; Though I rarely even see that at my school... or at all in public.
Anime Club - Bleh, this should be relatively self-explanatory. We watch anime that people bring in and are voted on.
Drawing Club - We (attempt to) draw in any sort of style we find fitting for us.
Other things:
Fast Track - By next semester, I should be enrolled in the local college and taking classes there part-time for Dual Credits. =3 Yeah, I will be slightly crazed ini the beginning, but I shouldn't have that much problem after I get used to it.

Re: Electives/After School Activities/School Sports

First of all i have band
Its "gifted band" if that makes sense. My teacher chose her best students and put them in her best class. I play bass clarinet!
The i have GTC or gifted class
It called research and is really fun because we do a bunch of fun projects. One project we did is here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h05dt0KUpc
After school i have drama
Our school is preforming My Teacher is an Alien and i get to be the nerd! Drama club is a lot of fun.
All in all i have a pretty good day at school
