Tough choice.
Although three lives would generally be considered more valuable than one, I don't know anything about these three people, they could be murderers and rapists for all I know, while I don't think I could leave the person who I love most to die.

I would save the person I loved most, since the three people, if chosen at random, could easily be people that would want to cause harm/havoc.

I would choose the person I love since I might kill myself if he died, which would make others die, so then only two people died instead of three...

Honestly, I'd have to go with the person I love the most.
@ The people for saving the three: It's really easy to say that you would save the three people but if the situation actually arose, I think that decision would be MUCH more difficult.

There's no real specification here, so it really depends. If the random three people were children, and the loved one (my mother), I'd save the three people, because my mother has already seen enough of the world and the meaning of life, while the children, well, they've not yet experienced the better things of life yet. My mother would've wanted me to do so, too.
