Re: Goodbye Toonami
Aww, I used to watch a lot. Ever since Dragonball Z stopped, it kinda became okay. Naruto made it a little better, but they started showing only on weekends. I think they can still bring it back, but if they know what they're doing.
Everything is ending Toonami, TRL, what's next!?

Agreed. Those were the shows back when I watched CN. Now all they have is junk like Flapjack, George of the Jungle, and other stuff.

Re: Goodbye Toonami
Naruto isn't a part of toonami is it? What all are the main shows that are gone? As long as Naruto isn't gone I'll survive.

You sir, win. :[
Seriously, the new shows on CartoonNetwork make my eyes bleed on how dumb they are. :| The oldoldoldoldold stuff (as mentioned above) was extremely fun, even if it got to be stupidly funny it was still funny.

Re: Goodbye Toonami
Cartoon Network has ruined their chances of getting a good audience right now.
They don't realize that the most entertaining shows are Toonami. They've completely destroyed the Good name that was ever Cartoon Network.

Re: Goodbye Toonami
I'm heartbroken. Toonami was the home of all the best cartoons, action shows, and anime for all my life. Plus, TOM was pwn.
RIP.

Re: Goodbye Toonami
People, people. This thread isn't about the new Cartoon Network or the old Cartoon Network. Look at the thread title.
People will watch what they want to watch.

Re: Goodbye Toonami
Man that sucks. I can still rember coming home on fridays to sit down to some good old DBZ, YuYu Hakusho and Ruroken. JLU was one of the better recent shows, and when that was gone One piece was what kept me watching the block. Then when that left there was nothing left for me. Still the block had some good memories and I wish they didn't let it go.
Honestly though, I suppose it was inevitable since the latest form of Tom was no where near as good as the last, the block lost 1 hour of it's progaming and besides Naruto it didn't have too much going for it. I'll admit that wasn't the worst it ever got. I believe that honor goes to when on the weekdays Toonami had PPG,Hamtaro and Batman beyond. Those where indeed dark times. Heh Heh, R.I.P. Toonami.

Re: Goodbye Toonami
I say good ridden to Toonami. It's been sucking for a while now, and Fried Dynamite is retarded, but I agree with others here. Total Drama Island is a great show, along with the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and Chowder. Though I can't shake the fact that a reall uptight parent will see Total Drama Island and try to sue them because it has nudity on it sometimes.
Toonami had great shows, but they slowly got rid of them when they easily could've just showed the re-runs because most of the shows were worth re-watching.

What in the world are you talking about?
I grew up with those shows for a long time, and I just turned 13, I think everyone has seen those shows. I love them, except for Courage. xD I watched them, the only people who didnt get to experience them are like, 7 year olds...
I loved Toonami! That was my thing I always watched on Saturdays for DBZ, and now Naruto, I didnt know it went of the air... noooooo
Toonami and 'Fridays' were the only good thing they had. I loved Fridays D=
Fried Dynamite, is just, uh...

I remember those from when I was around 6. THAT's Cartoon Network. This new stuff is crap. Except for Chowder. I find that show very funny. I love Courage the Cowardly Dog. That was a good show.
I guess it's too bad tonnami's dead. I never really watched it though. I was just never in to Dragonball Z, and Beyblades, and all that stuff.
