World Populaton Growth?!

World Population Growth.
They say that the world's population will double in 50 years, yet it took us 2000 to get here.
My teacher says it's because of all this medicine and tech.
The average life span is like 83 for girls, and 79 for boys. ()
It used to be about 50 for both of us.
We should have another black plauge! (I'm totally joking!)

And before it was 50 it was around 20 for some parts. O=

And if the population on EARTH did double, life would be like hell with so many people in a crowded space. I mean, some parts of the world are already crammed as it is. xD

Which is why most of my class voted we should bomb China.

It will most certainly double, if not triple in the next 50 years, quite easily if China drops the One Child Policy anytime soon. In those next 50 years, apparently Asians will make up about a quarter or more of that worldly pop. (Woo, go us... NOT.)

It's taken us 1.4 billion years to get to this stage, we're off and running and slowly coming to a halt as the Earth is being destroyed. I'd vote for another Black Plague, save that we have a cure for it. Humanity needs to leave the Earth to regenerate for a while.

During the Stone/Ice Ages, the average life expectancy was a little over 20. It's because back then, we just needed to breed and die. Now we have time to live, there aren't any life threatening disasters, we can sustain our lives longer, thus, we survive longer.

We will have to leave this planet, theories are made that we can Terraform Mars. Which is really bloody destructive isn't it? But yeah. We'll move from planet to planet as long as science sustains us. Then we'll die. Sounds simple, but it'll take another billion or two years :/ Unless we can stay on this planet.

I vote China should be split into two smaller countries ruled by one Monarch (Y'know, like Europe.) and they should GTFO of Tibet.

That only happens in the villages and in places where tradition still rules over most people's lives. It doesn't happen in most urban areas of China, and is a horrible stereotype.
