Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
Never really tried TTFAF on hyperspeed 5 but when I played it on performance mode (with no fail) I got 82%. I used to play GH way 2 much lol. I'm sad though the whammy bar on my fave controller broke :(

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
Yeah performance is pretty hard I've done the beginning and gotten out of it with Hyperspeed 5 performance.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
hyperspeed doesn't do anything to performance since you still hit notes at same times just less time to see them.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
Hey hyperspeed 5 and performance mode is not easy at all. Performance is hard in the first place but when you can barely see the notes it adds a fair share of difficulty.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
GH3 was the easiest GH. GH2 was very challenging compared to GH3 if dragonforce was on GH2 it would be all the more difficult.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
Your thinking of precision mode. Performance is when you don't see the notes at all. Precision makes it so you have to hit more precisely.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
nope you don't play notes faster just have less time to see them so it only feels as if your playing faster. Your not really.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
Well I'm positive that my hands are moving a lot faster when I use hyperspeed 5 compared to no hyperspeed so I have to disagree with you on that skottles I may be wrong but I really have to be flying to keep up with slash and the devil on hyperspeed 5 compared to no hyperspeed or even hyperspeed 4. 5 really makes a big jump man I had to practice on hyperspeed 3 a lot to even be able to get up to 5.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
It makes you feel like it cause if you notice the notes are much farther apart. But It may be a little faster. Keep 99% Beast and the Harlot Hopefully in a week I can 100%. I have been playing GH2 alot recently than GH3.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
I have GH for the Wii. I play on Expert, but I have only FC'd Closer. I got close on Lay Down, but of course, I missed a easy note and hit all the hard ones.

Re: Official Guitar Hero/Rock Band Thread
Rock Band doesn't fail. I've been saving up for 2, but $60 is a lot of cash. D:
I hope to have enough for Guitar Hero on release, though. I'm not too interested in getting any new peripherals, and if I ever do, it'll probably just be the drum set.
I like my X-Plorer way more than the Les Paul, and while the new guitar has a ton of new features, I don't think I'll exactly need them to play any better.
