Default Backing up pokemon from a previous game..

Hey...

Well, its been a while since I last played this game. So feeling rather nostalgic I'd like to start anew; However my main issue is my collection of 'special event' pokemon. My favourite being a Special Event Dragonite from a Saikyou event and Lugia and Hoho which apparently are quite elusive.. [I've gained most if not all bar my mew and darkrai from this forum].

I want to re-start the game, but I don't know what to do with all my SE pokemon, all the ones I placed so much effort in obtaining, and cloning for people just to get them. :(

Any ideas? My interent is quite temperamental so trading them to somebody else would not be practical.

Can you get devices which 'back up' you NDS games?

Thans in advace.

I'm pretty sure that you can only get Power Saves Cards for stationary Systems such as Wii, PS2, Xbox, etc. I'm pretty sure the NDS is'nt conpatible with those. Your going to just have to pick the ones you REALLY want to keep, and trade them temperarily to someone else, then trade back once you start a new gaem.

You need something called a flash cart. But I don't think were allowed to discuss that here. Try a search engine.

Well, thanks for the advice... I don't want to spend more fancy gadgetry, i've already got an AR to clone pokemon, thats the only 'advanced' code I use... I use a mac, so typing long hacking codes takes friggin ages! Anyhow, back on topic, I dont want to buy a flash cart, I do have a Pokemon Pearl so I could transfer them to there, however I don't have a spare NDS! lol

I know this is hideously impractical but for everything without a classic ribbon you could always clone them (many times) and try to GTS them and then re-find them on the Pearl. Or borrow a friend's NDS?

The only real way to do it is going to be trading them to another game. It doesn't actually have to be a friend's game--you could get a second game yourself. Of course that would defeat the prupose of starting your game over.

Why not find a friend who's willing to lend you their game over the weekend, trade the guys over, restart, trade them back, return their game, and problem solved?
