I think they should make a game where u can collect all the gym badges from the 4 regions and join team rocket or become a gym leader or even be in the elite four.

Okay, I want a Gold, Silver & Crystal remake but it's not going to happen anytime soon. Think about it for a second; Nintendo/Gamefreak know that a remake of the second generation games would get them a pretty big profit, correct? Well, why are they waiting to make the remakes? Because they are waiting for the Pokémon franchise to hit an all time low before they use GSC remakes to revitalise the Pokémon market. That's what I'd do, anyways.

Realistically, we can look forward to a couple of spin-off games and a fifth generation installment for the series. As Neo Pikachu said; the trainer storyline needs to change, fast, but that's not going to happen.

I started the game series when yellow came out and have had every single game at one point (spar a spin-off or two) and personally, I can see alot more going one.

I actually liked Diamond and Pearl alot. I was a little bummed when I figured out that you couldn't get half the pokemon. That was the only problem. There are a sh*t load of ideas still out there, as represented by the millions of Fakedex, regions all over the place.

I can definatly see a fifth generation coming out and maybe a sixth. Of course they will not be as satisfying as g/s/c and r/b/e, but I'm still going to buy them. And I'd like to address the "too many pokemon that the dex is going to be immpossible to fill" comment made earlier. Do you actually play the pokemon game to fill your pokedex.

Yes, I would like to see all sorts of story changes as well as a wii game, but those are what spin offs are for. As long as forums like pe2k stay around, you know that there are a couple 100 thousand people still into the games.

I believe pokemon will eventually die down, but not for a while. There are way to many ideas that Nintendo hasn't used. Eventually after the sixth millionth installment of the normal series, they will get pretty desperate. That's when the crap comes out, but you can realistically assume that Nintendo has the technology and money to do whatever the heck they want to at the moment. Pokemon is too popular for it to make a sudden crash collision course. Something like Metroid or Kirby will die before pokemon ever will.

GSC remake would be pretty cool. I love the trainer games. But a spinoff game would'nt be bad either. Like PMD3.

I don't know if that's confirmed. There are several videos on Youtube about remakes, named Dusk and Dawn, but they turned out to be fake.

What I'd like to see is Pokemon Colosseum 2 for the Wii, with a decent storyline, featuring Sinnoh Shadow Pokemon. Battle Revolution was a poor excuse for a game :/
I'd also like a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Wii.

If not though, I at least want an original game. I too am tired of the same overused plot. Someone needs to send Nintendo/Game Freak a letter (in Japanese, probably) pointing out all the things we are tired of. XD

Gawd, just give me an actual plot... give the starving fanfic writer and bookworm some plot... I don't like resorting to crappy fanfiction to stave off my appetite for something worth my time and money.
