It prolly looks like a bunch of sharp little claws or something. ^~^ They dig through hard dirt and ground and stuff, so that would make sense, but that would also be incredibly odd.

Maybe they're so embarrasing that they just don't want anyone to see them. Or maybe they will show them one day, but they'll cencor them.

Either way, does it really matter? It's just an annoying thing that people did.

Gosh everyone knows this!

Digletts feet are two Diglett fetuses that have yet to develop. Once the other two fetuses fully develop, the Diglett evolves into Dugtrio.
