Check on the srebii home page, Dawn catches swinub. Do you think it would suit her. If not, who would it suit? Discuss.

I actually thought she would get it since Dawn needed a fifth Pokémon to her team.
I'm actually thinking that it might evolve into Mamoswine and be one of Dawn's powerhouses.

I think she needed it because she really needs a powerhouse, like Hollow said.

Ambipom is a powerhouse. I just think she needed another mon cuz her four mons were getting kinda boring. She needed something new on her team.

Ambipom isn't much of a Powerhouse though. If you guys saw the Veilstone Gym Episode,
It got majorly OWNd by Lucario's Bone Rush :P

But nonetheless, that's the only Fully Evolved Pokemon Dawn has. Imagine if her Piplup and Buneary evolves!

And also, Ash's Gligar Evolves into Gliscor. Announced in Serebii.net as well. I wanted Chimchar to Evolve =D

Swinub and Dawn? Wow.
Of course it will evolve. But Dawn is so small. Mamoswine is so huge. D:
I'm wondering if Dawn will get stomped on a few times like how Pikachu zaps Ash once in a while. :/

I bet Dawn will have a Mamoswine on the team, like May has Blaziken. I hope the Lopunny in the upcoming episode is Dawn's...but I'm not sure if it coincides with the next Pokemon movie...

Lopunny is another Trainer's. *sigh* I was hoping Chimchar would evolve in the "Chimchar-goes-berserk-and-tries-to-murder-Paul" episode. The name escapes me at the current moment. ^^;

...Anyway, I made some speculation that it would be Dawn. I always thought it would make sense that she'd have one of those "cute-to-ugly" Pokemon. It'd make sense, considering she only has Pokemon that either have cool or sexy evolved forms, don't evolve, or have already evolved into the equivlent of a copy of its former stage. XD

I just remembered reading Swinub's mini-profile on Dawn's Bio and thinking "Wow, they're repeating themselves, because this Swinub is another Munchlax". But yeah, I figured Dawn was gonna get Swinub. Ash already got an unsung Ice Type with his awesome Glalie, and Brock... well, just ask yourself, when compared to Ash, May, Dawn, heck, even Misty, how often does he get a new Pokemon?

So in the words of Get Smart, is it the old it's another trainer's Pokemon and Ash/Dawn have no idea about evolution episode? 9 times out of 10 when there's an evolved Pokemon evolved, it's always another trainer's Pokemon and we viewers wonder does Ash or Dawn have a clue about evolving Pokemon? It always seems like the Pokemon they have evolve on their own with no clear explanation, and Ash and Dawn have no clue about what it takes to evolve them.

Too bad I couldn't go on the show and show Dawn this is what Lopunny does as a member of A Team and how effective it can be. Sigh.

i had watch swinub and gliscor special episode in youtube.. well swinub is the copy of May's Munchlux.. hahah well its cute.. i know soon.. itl evolve...

I Liked Gilgar Episode.. Ash teaches it to be strong before letting it evolve... wow.. im waiting for Ash's Glisgor and Paul's Glisgor battle!

Pokemon 11th movie will be in theatres in Japan by the 17th of July.. hoped i could watch it!

Your right about that. He hardly ever gets a new Pokemon.

I think it is a great idea that they gave dawn swinub. at first i didn't like it - i was hoping for brock to get it cos he needs something cool - but its growing on me. it has the whole "cute" thing as its first stage evo, but then when get this big powerhouse evo at the end - mamoswine is obviously going to come about otherwise the point is why? but anyway, i think its good to see dawn get something that is'nt going to remain cute forever.

I think thisll work out pretty well actually. Mamoswine.. I'm still not so sure. Maybe it'll stay that way? But then again. I have these wierd images of Dawn having a Mamoswine next to her. I think it might be a sign to a future dejavu. And I think Brock could've used Swinub more. it is a Ground type too nonetheless....
