Yes, I agree. Besides, if the probe, like Shawdow Lucario said, is heat resistant, it will still melt. I think scientists are trying to find a way to make it possible....

Uhm. This is the other discussion, where every post you make should be thought out and contribute. So to the first 7 or so posts in this thread, speak intelligently or stay on an instant messenger.

As far as this whole idea goes, I think it's brilliant if they can pull it off. In the article, it said the closest the spacecraft will get to the sun is 7 million kilometers away. Temperatures of "over 1400 degrees Celsius". I actually think that that's plausible for NASA, they've surprised me before. I can't wait for them to launch it.
