Worry seed useful?

I was in a experimental double battle with my brother (I used Jumpluff and Regigigas) and I found out jumpluff can use worry seed on Regigigas, therefore Regigigas didn't have slow start anymore and I swept my brother's team. I was wondering if you people already know this or if this is a crazy new strategy I stumbled upon?

Yes, Worry Seeding a Pokemon in a double battle is nothing new -- not extremely common, but it has situations where it can be valuable.

I'm more for Contests and breeding but I do know of Worry Seed. Gastro Acid works in a similar manner. But not all abilities are hindered. I know there is one but not too sure which. Might be Mold Breaker. I dunno though.

It's nothing new, but, it is a good combo with those pokemon you mentioned and other pokemon and there are many more combos with different moves, abilities, pokemon, etc.

It also makes a nice PHazing move in certain circumstances, levitators are never amused when they suddenly get EQs thrown at them.
