Some weird(But dangerus)Glitch found on yellow. - Pokemon Forum

I just found something weird when I was playing yellow version today.I just found out about the mew 1-100 glitch just recently,and I wanted to try it out,but because I was near the end of the game my resorces were little,infact I only had one trainer that can be used for the mew glitch left and that was a swimmer south of fuchsia city.I had the use the ditto glitch to obtain my mew.
So I got a pokemon with 21 special fought the trainer defeated him and went to the pokemon mansion to find a ditto.after the fight with ditto I went back to lavender town but I was low on pokeballs so I stocked up on great balls for the capture.Strangely instead of the start menu popping up I get a message "You look good at POKEMON hows your chem?" and I get into a fight with a
super nerd who I find out later that I forgot was there and left behind.I defeat him,and I am forced into another battle with the SAME super nerd!? I defeat him again.Thinking it was just a minor glitch I go to the gambler the repeat the "Mew Glitch" and as I am going,I start to walk slower and I get closer to the gambler,weird and strange things start to happen such as funny sounds
and visuals are accuring.Just when I am about close to him the game crashs...? I wanted to know if anyone knows about this glitch in the game,I did give it a nickname if it has not been descovered yet.."The End Of The Road Glitch"

To use this glitch,fallow these dirctions below.....

Make sure you have a Pokémon yellow version.You need a pokemon that knows Fly and the thunder badge.Defeat all the trainers On Route 8 except the gambler and the super nerd that are near the underground path entrence and saffron city left enternce.Stand in front of the door of the Underground Path. Save your game, since saving after this point will disrupt the procedure and may currupt your save file.
Walk down one step and immediately press Start. If you succeed, the menu will pop up before the Gambler "sees" you. Go to the Pokémon list and fly to fuchsia city.
The Gambler will see you just before you fly away
Your Start button will no longer function.Go south of fuchsia city.Fight the first swimmer you see.
If you walk right up to the trainer, the game will lock up, so you'll have to let him see you and walk up to you.Defeat the swimmers shellder.(afterwards, your Start button will work again), then fly to Lavender Town.
Go to the pokemart and buy a greatball,and exit the pokemart.Head west into Route 8.
As soon as you enter the narrow path, You will get this message "You look good at POKEMON hows your chem?"
You will be forced into a battle with the super nerd that you left alone near the saffron gate.defeat him.
You will get a message "SUPER NERD: Ow! Meltdown!"
After the battle ends,Your forced into yet another battle with the same super nerd.Like before defeat him.
This time you get a strange message,"SUPER NERD: "(During the displaying of the message the wild pokemon battle music will play intell you exit that battle)
You cannot use your start option on route 8 anymore(However by some streak of luck if you manage to get the start option open,you will see ERROR 15),you start walking slow,as you make your way to the gambler everything starts to mess up the closer you get to the gambler the more weird stuff you get,intell the game finaly gives in and freezes.

You must've performed the glitch improperly, I did this several times and succeeded with flying colors, for example: after flying to lavender, you go left straight away until your menu pops up and you press "B", suddenly Mew appears, however you went to the Mart instead of going left...

I have done this glitch many times before and suceeded at it I just wanted to know if poeple knew about this,The mew glitch is still not fully tested we dont know all of its side effects aswell as its alternives
Its truely amazing how many side effects and other glitchs are cuased by this single gltch.

PS:It does not matter where you go or who you encounter the glitch will always work,This glitch is triggered after you buy a great ball.

i got a funny glitch one time. I had beat a nindorina when going to fight gary near the pokemon league. as I walk thru the gras pikachu started flying around the screen in circles, I walk up towards gray and he is flying as well. I call it the "flying pika glitch"

I think someone had to descovered this glitch,but what is the proper name?

EDIT:HMMM...It seem thay already have a thread for this kind of thing....Maybe this thread should be destroyed

Well, the last time I did the Mew glitch on Blue, I succeeded, but instead of the Start menu popping up, a message popped up saying, "With your ability, you'd make a great leader in TEAM ROCKET!".

just so you know, (if you didn't realize) im pretty sure thats what the man who gives you the nugget after you beat the 5 trainers on nugget bridge says ;D anyways i love the mew cheat! i just wish that the pokemon would be higher than level 7 don't you?
