Default Strange Things In The Series And Movies

Ok, so sometimes weird and unexplanable things can happen in the movies and series. Can anyone explain these?

Problem 1:

Okay, you've all seen Jirachi:Wishmaker right?

In the scene where Butler catches Absol, he puts it in a cage and has Kirlia use hypnosis to make it stop trying to get out and it worked and Absol fell asleep.

But wait! Isn't hypnosis a psychic type move? And Absol's a dark type! Psychic moves don't work on Dark types!Someone know why?????

If you haven't really notice in pokemon series they change some of the movests capable and not capable for pokemon. Which is odd but they do that in some episodes like Pokemon The Movie.

Problem 2:

Well think about it....... new episodes every saturday so 7 days for us is one day to them. Also there was a 6 month break with pokemon remember? So if we went through their reality he should be 16 years old really but in the Japan pokemon deal he is 14 right now instead of really 16.

Also, if he did age, it would be boring to the younger audiences to see an adult main character......

Oh yeah! I remember that!

Okay, how about this:

Problem 3:

In all of the commentaries, everyone says that th only things in the pokemon world are pokemon and that's final.

But in some episodes, like "Pokemon Shipwreck" and "The Ghost Of Maiden's Peak" they pointed out several ANIMALS, not pokemon. What's up with that?

Ash & Pikachu celebrated their 'anniversary' in the Pikachu & Pichu movie short on Season 3. So Ash should be 13 1/2 by now. But I don't think the new, bad dub voice counts as puberty. On the contrary, he sounds & speaks more like a kid compared to his speaking in Seasons 5-7.

The concept of the Pokemon world wasn't that clear that time. Notice that those episodes that have real animals are only in Season 1? They might have thought that to negate the idea of Pokemon eating Pokemon. Otherwise, Ekans could've attempted to swallow Pikachu while they were alone in Attack of the Giant Pokemon.
But, at The Ghost of Maiden's Peak, they made a Christianity reference & it didn't work to save them :/ That was slightly discriminating.

That wasn't discriminating. The cross is only for vampires and other evil spirits. Gastly was just having fun with them.

In answer to all your strange questions, this is the answer: The Pokemon movies lie to you!

You're completely right, a Psycic move wouldn't affect a dark type. And yes, Ash's pokemon do learn moves that they can't. Like I belive that Charazard can't learn Overheat. He can, I think, learn it using a TM, but Ash said, "wow, I can't belive that you learned that move."

And there are many other lies that the Pokemon movies are spreading.
