Personally, I love my Gameboy games, and if I was you I would save up and buy one ^^ I like Emerald and Diamond, but nothing can replace all the Pokemon I have on my old games.

I don't know if you have diamond, cuz if you've played diamond, I seriously don't think you'll get along with Gold/Silver/Crystal, but if your a die-hard fan....then you might wanna buy an SP or a GBA to play them.

GSC does have some classic factor missing in DP and all. Go for an SP. It's not worth it saving a little of money to get the original GBA, because it doesn't have a backlight and it's quite ugly if you ask me.

Yes. Great games. They are the home of Celebi, Ho-oh, Lugia and the three legendary beasts. It also has the cool shiny Gyarados easy to obtain.

If I were you, i'd buy the sp instead of the original gba, because of the buit in lighted screen. It hurts your eyes after a while to stare at a dark screen for hours and hours, trying to figure out what is happening in the game...I did it for over 500 hours in saphire and now I have to wear glasses....

I just compensated by getting a ROM. It works just as well, and there's a programmed internal clock that works. I know it's not quite the same, since I had a different feeling playing it on a GBC, but not really willing to spend my money, this is what I did.
