The Game's new album [Doctor's Advocate] is coming out sometime in April I hear. About damn time too. THere hasn't been a good rap album since the drop of his last album, aside from Kanye's.

Really? Can't wait to get it. Hopefully it won't be just G-Unit disses like his most current albums.

Nope. Those are just mixtapes and stuff. This is an actual mainstream album.

Nope no singles yet. And yes, Dre's not like 50. He won't become enemies with a friend just because he's conflicting with one of his friends or he's not conflicting with one of his enemies.

TI's another horrible rapper.

Ohhh I beg to differ. Everybody these days that listens to rap doens't even pay attention to lyrics. If it sounds good that's all that matters. Its not even about the lyrics, its about the beats. Only reaon everybody likes the south so much. There's only two rappers that are good that are actually currently rapping, Game and Kanye. Lloyd Banks hasn't had an album in a while, and 50's second album sucked ass.

Forgot about Busta Rhymes, his last single wasn't that good though. :/

50's album was good in my opinion. Game is good, but Kanye isn't too good. He was alright, until he said he should've been in the bible. That was pretty stupid.

All of the songs on 50's albums were party songs. :/

And Kanye is one of the best rappers out. As I said, youngsters these day don't think to pay attention to lyrics in rap, which is rather ignorant if you ask me considering they don't even sing in rap. 'cept sometimes on the hooks, not that they do it very well or anything.

It's not that I don't listen to the lyrics, it's that I don't care for Kanye West. Plus, some people like party songs.

Proof, whose real name is Deshaun Holton, was one of two people shot in the head after an argument escalated into gunfire, said Detroit police spokesman James Tate.

The other person — a 35-year-old man — was critically wounded, Tate said.

Plans for a memorial service were incomplete, said Dennis Dennehy, publicist for D12's label, Interscope Records.

"His friends and family would appreciate privacy during this difficult time," Dennehy said in a statement.

D12, whose members include Eminem, has been around since the mid-1990s, when members of the rap group met at Detroit's Hip-Hop Shop, a clothing store by day and a hip-hop club by night.

Proof was the best man at Eminem's wedding in January and often appeared alongside the superstar rapper at concerts and public appearances.

The two men were shot inside the C.C.C. nightclub, a small bar in a strip of businesses along Eight Mile, which divides Detroit and its northern suburbs, Tate said.
