Vale of Earth

As I descend into the valley,
made of dust, stone and clay,
I can't help but wonder,
will it survive another day?

The Vale of Earth,
bone dry and withered.
Outside its gates,
I stood and I shivered.

The winds roar, howl and scream.
Decay takes the land, leaving nothing alive.
Leaving nothing to grow, nothing to thrive.
It had become a shadow, from being a dream.

The lord of the Vale pounds his fists in fury,
Unable to stop the darkness from taking his grounds.
Blinded by the shade, there was once light.
Death in the earth just wasn't right.

He is taken away, the Vale left to its doom.
Despair and sorrow spread, it will happen soon.
The once beautiful, mystical place, bathed in glory,
had become the Vale of Darkness...

This was the Earth's story.

==================

I like it => Working on the other elements, the titles are:
  • Chasm of Fire
  • Tower of Wind
  • Shrine of Water
  • Sanctum of Light
  • Temple of Darkness

When those are done I'll be composing the 'Ballad of the Beast'. Stay tuned! =D

Edit: My binder has several more titles waiting to be written...
  • Illusion of the Blade
  • The Angel's Kiss
  • Soulcatcher
  • Days of Night
  • Moonwolf
  • Savage
  • Tree of Ages
  • Chain Chamber

Heh, I plan ahead. xD

The Felony Blues

Back in the nineteenth century, I wasn't even alive.
But let me tell you this one thing, one thing that is true.
Caught inside of me, is an ancient soul,
of a man who once sang these blues.

He used to struggle out on the streets.
Playing for everyone, and anyone that he'd meet.
But they all laughed, and turned him down on the spot.
They all said, 'music's an important part of life, but sonny, you're not.'

And so he wandered through the town.
Ended up in a bar.
This music contest was being held,
and he knew he'd win the crown.

And so he sang the greatest blues, the world had ever known.
He won the audience for himself, and the competition was overthrown.
The number two reached for his gun, but the trigger got stuck.
Out of nowhere, came the winner's buddy, driving a giant truck.

The police were all over them,
so they had to flee the scene.
They were former fellons, and their slates weren't clean.
They left the state together, not knowing what to do...

And so instead they spent their lives singing these felony blues.

Irene

Irene...
Is there a way you could have known,
that you could have seen,
that through all my love and caring,
that we could have been?

Before we parted ways,
I reminded you: "'Till Death do us part."
I would have stayed with you, by your side.
At your leave, I sat and I cried.

You pulled the ring from your finger
and thrust it into my hand.
You did the only thing that I can't.
It tore me apart and made me sad.

I wouldn't want to live if you didn't love me.
With you I had the feeling of being myself.
With you I was free.
But I guess this is how you don't want me to be.

I threw myself off the cliff,
into the river below.
My lungs swelled up and flooded,
and I choked out...

'Till Death do us part, that's what this was about.

The Moon Book Part 2

You open the book,
curious of what it holds.
Worth more than anything,
say the Wise Men of old.

Star signs are scribbled
on the faded out page.
There you see Saturn,
with its ring as its cage.

Planets sketched all over,
with the moons close behind.
Within this book of magical secrets,
you find yourself intwined.

Suddenly, words form,
right before your very eyes.
They tell you to close the book,
and turn to the skies, take a closer look.

You close the pages silently,
and watch the stars above align.
They light up the heavens,
and scar the deep blue sky...

"Much better than the Moon Book," you say with a sigh.

I Realize Ecstasy Never Ends

My addiction to you can’t be treated.
No amount of medicine or treatment could make it end.
I live off of you, survive on your presence.
Being around you makes me feel alive.

You know this, but won’t stay away.
You know I need you, day after day.
Do you feel the same with me as I do with you?
It’s hard to tell through this haze.

I gaze into your eyes, and drown in the deep blue.
There are so little remedies, oh so few.
I can’t keep my distance, but know I should.
I won’t let go, and hope you don’t either.

Snap back to reality, you’re gone now.
The thought of you makes me high.
At the thought of your smell, your touch...
It makes me sigh.

You return to me, a fresh dose for me to feed on.
Take it in real quick, for I know that later you’ll be gone.
You return the touch in a similar way to mine.
Now I know you feel the same as me...

Let’s stay together, throughout all time.

Affection, Addiction, Affliction

Just when I thought I was all alone,
When I was ready to end it all,
Someone strode over to me,
And I heard an angel call.

Your grace and beauty caught me by surprise.
Your golden hair and bright, azure eyes.
I found myself dazed, not knowing what to do.
I had waited so long for the perfect being... you.

Our love for each other grew strong.
You completed me, and I you.
We were inseparable, that you knew.
Yet one day, there came the boom.

My feelings were stronger than I anticipated.
I proposed we always be together.
For your answer, I waited and waited.
I wished to be with you always. In life and death.

The pain and sorrow overwhelmed me,
As I returned to how this started.
I picked up the knife, put it to my wrist.
I slowly bled out, lying helpless on the floor...

I couldnít believe what I heard, when you said you wanted me no more.

No More Hiding

This is me, right in front of you,
Sharing my feelings, but this time I say whatís true.
I say I love someone, and you ask who?
I choke, hope to hide in an invisible cloak, as my jaws are stuck together with superglue.

I pour out my heart, lay the cards down on the table.
My emotions strike like icy hail, they ainít simple like in a freakiní fairy tale.
They pierce your mind and soul like a katana,
And all you care about is gettiní blood on your Dolce & Gabbana.

You think I canít have you?
Is it my turn to ask who?
Who in this wicked world hasnít had you?
Iím good enough for your Mom, so why not you too?

You think youíre better than me?
Girl, go home, take off your panties and go do your daily sluttiní spree.
In these verses and rhymes, the pain and hurt can chime,
But probably wonít hurt as much as when I buy you for a dime.

In these final few lines, youíll see the light, it shines.
Pouriní its rays right down on me, the Lord answered my prayers,
Heís finally settiní me free, sendiní me to Heaven right where I wanna be.
You got one more line cominí right at you, best get ready for this shot I take...

Now Iím takiní down your shield, so the world can see that youíre fuckiní fake.

Letting It Loose

I donít give a damn Ďbout what you think, donít give a damn what the world might think.
These feelings are mine, ainít nobody elseís.
Think I care if you share the same ones?
My feelings are true, will always be like that, so how Ďbout you?

Canít crack my armor, canít break through my shell.
You know what itís like, liviní in this Hell?
Bet you donít, well itís made me tough.
Canít you see, how Iím rippiní you with this stuff?

Get outta my way, youíre standiní in the way.
Still in my way, been there since yesterday.
Hit you in the head, now youíre lyiní in the way.
Kick you once more, out of my way, great, now your bloodís all over the floor.

Drag you to the front yard, carve my name in your face with a freakiní glass shard.
You know who youíre dealiní with now b.itch, hit you once more, then throw you in a ditch.
Cover you up, with whateverís lyiní around, find a rope, now your hands and feet are bound.
Never shoulda picked you up from Lost and Found, I knew youíd been with everybody in town.

Spit on your grave, and then simply walk away.
Maybe someday Iíll say a few words, but not today.
Itís just your funeral, not your party for finally beiní dead.
Guess I shoulda kicked you sooner in the head...

Mighta made me feel better, instead of writiní you a f.uckiní love letter.
