Agree or Disagree with Banned teams? Eh, I think the whole thing has potential to be a string of blowout match (ie. ghost vs. dark, electric vs. water) but this seems like it is for fun, so I say you just let people run whatever type they want. It would be cool if somehow you could match people so it made sense (ghost vs. normal), but that would probably be a pain.

Agree or Disagree with Banned teams?: Disagree. Both Dark and Dragon can be countered. There are really only 4 good dragons in the game: Garchomp, Dragonite, Salamence, and Kingdra (if rain dance is in effect, and it probably won't be on a dragon team). Also anybody who uses dragons really only has one choice for a team: Garchomp, Dragonite, Salamence, Kingdra, Flygon, and Altaria. The final two dragons really are mediocre, and since the team is so predictable, I think it's weak. But if you want to use the rule that you need one pure type on the team then that would force people to use Dragonair or Shelgon, potentially weakening the dragon team even further. So I actually think that an all dragon team would be really weak.
As for dark, i think it has some good pokemon like Tyranitar, Weavile, Spritomb, and Umbreon, but I don't feel like those are unstoppable. Any team with 2 or 3 fighting attack will definitely scare a dark team, especially since Tyranitar and Weavile have a 4x weakness to fighting.

that's true, a flying team can be very scary. you get the option of using pokemon like gyarados, zapdos, dragonite, salamence, gliscor, charizard, togekiss, yanmega, and more. there's so much variety that you could really create a scary team out of only flying pokemon.
