ok i saw nothing on the first page about this so i thought would post this

which starter in diamond or pearl did you choose and is it shiny and whats the nature?

mine was turtwig not shiny and the nature is jolly now whats yours

Mine was Piplup with a Quirky nature, and he isn't shiny.

Resetting for a shiny starter would take a looong time.
Unless you're extremely lucky. :o

I started with piplup, but traded him on wifi later after breeding a few piplups.

I started with a Chimchar, not shiny. He's just my favorite of the bunch. I think he has an Adamant nature... *goes to check* Nope, it's a Timid nature. Proves I know loads about my Pokemon...

I started with a Chimchar, SHINY, and Hasty nature. Believe it or not,I only tried once and it was shiny. But its shiny form is kind of ugly. But I figure I can just breed it later and trade a Shiny Infernape for like a Shiny Charizard or something.

It was an adament Chimchar (plain).

I started with a Hasty Piplup.... :(((((

That was before I learned natures actualyy mattered.
Also, she isn't shiny. (At least I got a female XD)

my first starter was a turtwig but not sure about nature (i borrowed game from friend to try out)

when i actualy bought it i got a Impish Piplup

I had a cute lil turtwig her nature was Calm not shiny
And yes the first time I played my pokemon diamond(on the day it came out)
I got a female turtwig
And now she's a big torterra
It's sorta the same as my female bulbasaur and Fire Red
