Eh. I'm in High School, year 8 (this year) to be precise. I think completing High School and going into Uni offers you a much wider range of opportunities.

My Dad dropped out of High School and didn't go to Uni so his little brother could go, his brother (my uncle) Is quite successful today. I'd say something about my Dad's situation, but it's a little personal :p

Getting a High School Diploma and a University... Whatever will give you a better chance at a job, people Oooh and Aaah when they see more achievements, which is kinda sad, because I guess, maybe the best geniuses could be in the slums of your city, too poor for education or a home :(

College isn't for everyone, but you usually have to work alot harder or at least spend awhile in a tech school if you don't go, and you often get locked into one job.

College is a great way to raise income to begin with, and do offer a wider variety of job choices post graduation. What college is, essentially, is your credentials. This increases as you get more educated, and you are "more qualified" than those that didn't complete college.

While college isn't possible for everyone, it is noted those who don't go to college usually have to learn a skill (say a trade) to gain better jobs, and may eventually have to upgrade themselves through other forms of schooling.

Bottomline: more schooling = better oppurtunities. Citing those that god lucky don't count, btw. ;3

Do you guys believe personal drive, perseverence, and hard work guarantees success later in life, even if you're a high school drop out or just graduated from highschool?

well this is a hard one cause it just depends on the person. some people may be very smart people that may not need to go to college. so it just depends on the individual

College+Good Effort=Success

Also, Extracurricular Activities/Sports+Good Grades=Usually Lower Tuition.

College is a good thing to have, but if you blow it off while you're there, then your parents just wasted money and you may have just watsed your life if the situation is bad enough.
