Unhappy Rock Smash?

I forgot where you get Rock Smash in Pokemon Crystal. Can someone remind me where I get it? And what about Strength?

Kangaskhan's R/S/E back sprite is so much better than the others, in my opinion. It holds a little baby! Isn't that just adorable?

I think Strength is found in Olivine, in this Diner. Talk to a Sailor Man. I don't remember where to go for Rock Smash.

Rock Smash wasn't in the Pokemon games until RSE and FR/LG.

WRONG! It was Technical Machine Number 08 before it became a Hidden Machine for the Advance Generation. Have you even played Generation Two?

Hey! Don't be talking like that to me boi! You could've corrected me in a nicer way at least. Even if it was a TM then, it wasn't an HM until RSE and FR/LG. And yes, I have played 2nd generation, so HA! I've played every generation!
Psshh... You bein mean to peoples... I don't even know you.

Erm... Anyways, to answer the question, you can get Rock Smash from a dude standing just outside the ruins of alph. He gives you the TM after you have caught or fainted Sudowoodo. I think you can also buy it at one of the department stores (I'm pretty sure it's the goldenrod one).

No, it cant be bought in a store, but you were right about the sodowudo thing. The only tms I know of that are bought at a store are thunder, ice, and fire punch...

At the risk of you hating me... well, actually it can. Here's a website; Scroll down to Goldenrod city, and on the right-hand column, under "Megamart fifth floor" you will find TM08 listed - which is Rock Smash...

Rock Smash is a regular TM in Generation 2, so you have to be careful with it. There's a guy outside Alph who's looking in the direction of where the Sudowoodo tree was (hopefully you caught it). I usually just teach it to Sudowoodo because you never really want to get rid of him...even if you hate him, so that's a good way of remembering. But, really, once you take care of the tower in Ecruteak, I don't think you need it afterwards.

Okay, just to resolve a few issues:

Rock Smash can be received after Sudowoodo has been in some way removed from its spot on Route 36. Talk to the man to the right of where Sudowoodo was, which is to the north of Ruins Of Alph and Violet City. He will be impressed with your removal of the Pokémon and give you the TM.

After this occurs, TM08 (Rock Smash) will be available from the fifth floor of Goldenrod Mart.

This also occurs for Headbutt, and I assume you'll be wanting to know where that one is so I might as well say:
It is in the Ilex Forest. When walking through, you'll notice a guy next to a ledge. Navigate your way over to him and he'll give you TM02 (Headbutt). This will also become available at Goldenrod Mart after receiving.
