Purifying Lugia - Pokemon Forum

Would it be possible for someone to tell me what pokemon to use to purify Lugia? I know the IDEA...but I would appreciate it if someone could list the pokemon THEY used to purify Lugia...thanks in advance.

Use any pokemon that have a high rate of purifying...

Try the OASIS Poke Spot and mass capturing HOPPIP. I used BRELOOM's False Swipe and lots of Poke Ball. to fill the Purify Chamber with ONLY HOPPIP. Works great for MOST (Teddiursa was the exception for me) purification. As for LUGIA, SET FIVE is where to put it when full tempo has been accomplished.

And EV's are in the Gamecube games. Just use the values from GBA values (Pokedex #001-#386---not realistic as not all these appear).

So you're saying that the EV's are what determines the purifying rate? That if I have things that give out 3 EVs in some stat it will go faster? I don't think I really get what you'r saying.

yeah right...not i had to max out every chamber and it took hours to figure it out so use pokemon that counter each other i.e. fire v grass v water and so on

I dont get it.. so do the other chambers effect the one lugia is in?

It took me a week to purify Lugia. If you want to purify it, fill all of the chambers with four Hoppips. It is a simple as that.

i simply used the time flute...but i don't knot if that workd for you guys...it didnt work for my sister, but it did for me

For me I could purify it as soon as I got it. I purify pokemon as fast as I can, and make sets (even if they are really low) and add my purified pokemon to make it better. Than my pokemon purified faster and I could make more sets. I beat the game 3 times and I purified lugia as soon as I got to the lab.

Unless you're considering the time it took to catch all of those Hoppips as part of the week, then that's not possible, as Lugia is purified the second it enters the machine, as long as all of the other chambers are filled (I forget whether or not they have to be at max speed, though...)

Is there a time flute in XD...? I'm pretty sure Nintendo took it out.
