Trainer House question
After I link-battled my Silver version with my Crystal I went to the Trainer House in Viridian. I've already been there before on Crystal so I thought instead of facing Cal I'd face the trainer on my Silver version, but I faced Cal again. But on my Silver I still had a different person I battled. Can anyone explain this to me? How does the whole Trainer House thing work? I'm very confused...

Well, the trainer house makes you battle the person you fought against in link battle. That's the trainer house purposes.
If you didn't link battle, you fight Cal.

I know I link battled... Maybe it doesn't let you battle the person you linked battled if you have the same name...

In order to battle a person from another version, you have to do Mystery Gift first.Then the person you mystery gifted will replace Cal. It has nothing to do with link cable battling.
