Default Yggdrasil: God of Illusion [SU]

Yggdrasil's History

Of all the great fables, one being about a special Spirit, that which has Five-Tails, one particular myth speaks of a legendary tree that stretched high into the heavens themselves, connecting the Earth and the Heavens together. That legendary tree, Yggdrasil, stood in the middle of the greatest island in a archipelago of small islands. The island Yggdrasil was rumored to be on was appropriately dubbed "Yggdrasil Island", named after the very tree itself. From the tree, the surrounding waters calmed, from vigorous crashing, to gentle waves. Green, fresh grass emerged from the ground, creating fields of grass. Thousands of flowers grew from the ground, creating the oxygen in the air. From the fields arose bunches of trees, whose roots traveled all the way down to Yggdrasil island, boosting them higher than any of the other trees in the world. From Yggdrasil's branches grew the birds and bees that would roam the islands. Yggdrasil took up rocks from the ocean floor and placed them upon the sandy beaches. Then, Yggdrasil extended four main branches, each pointing either North, South, East, or West.

From the South branch, Yggdrasil made that southern island hot, dry, and desert-like. The Southern branch created towering sand dunes that rose from the ground. Then, it created the first form of life; cacti. Then, from the leaves on it's branch, it created the Pokemon that would soon be it's protectors. It did the same with the North branch, but instead of creating a desert climate, it created a snowy one, deep mountain caves, and tall mountains, covered in snow, and shrouded in mist. From the leaves on the North branch, it created the Pokemon that would be the island's protectors. Yggdrasil did the same for the last two islands, the West a mountainous island, and the East one, a rain forest. The Western island grew gray and cold, it's craggy peaks reaching into the sky. The highest of mountains were sleeted with snow. A thick blanket of fog constantly covered the island. To the East, the forest island sprouted dozens of trees, which housed all kinds of life. The island constantly flooded with rain, making it the island with the most vegetation.

From the legends, the first beings of life came from that one tree, Yggdrasil. From each of Yggdrail' s main branches, pointing North, South, East, and West, each island that was in that direction was gifted with the life of Pokemon. They were nothing like the ones we know today; these beasts were just learning there powers. They were unruly, savage; And, they were learning there rightful place amongst the world. But, amidst the feral beasts, some became tainted with the thirst of power, and greediness. They demanded that the Sacred Ash Tree, Yggdrasil, show them how to correctly wield their newfound powers. When denied, they grew hatred for their creator, and turned their backs on Yggdrasil, becoming outcasts of their society. They fled to the very outskirts of the islands, in attempts to train and develop their powers on their own.

The legends then speak of a great battle ten years later, a war that waged for one thousand years, against the Defenders of Light, and the Forces of Evil. Only two living creatures survived, the legend says, by sheltering near the tree and nourishing themselves by the fruit of the tree. From the last two living beings spawned new life, great and small, weak and mighty. Now, the legends have been proven real, and the Forces of Darkness are once again rising, hoping to turn the tides in the final battle for the Earth.

General Plot

The times are dark, as are the skies. The Forces of Evil, also known as the Dark Ones, are gaining too many allies; they have too much support from Pokemon trainers. Small resistance groups have risen up everywhere along the coasts of Sinnoh, to try to thwart the Forces' plans on the islands, but the all get beaten within a few days. They soon return back to the Region of Sinnoh shamefully. Some well prepared groups have actually managed to defeat a few trainers, but normally, Resistance groups that go to the North Isle get beaten easily, ten to one. Most wild Pokemon that inhabited the islands were taken to the mainland, Sinnoh. The rest of the wild Pokemon on and around the islands are either fighting back, or tainted by the Forces' evil ways.

Now, under top secrecy, the Government itself has started recruiting people to join the ultimate resistance against the Forces of Evil, who are a group of Trainers, and, of course, their corrupted Pokemon, who actually believe that Yggdrasil poisoned the world by forming the islands, and making vegetation grow, claiming that it wasn't natural to force the grasses to grow, and the mountains to raise. Since the Forces of Evil now have human lapdogs for Trainers, they've grown even more dangerous. They only believe in destroying all nature, even if not by Yggdrasil herself, influenced, and maddened by ancient legends of old. As defenses along the coast strengthen, and The Resistance grows, time only need to past, for the Forces of Evil, and Defenders of Light to fight once again.

Name: Suteki Kura

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance: Suteki has on a long shirt, at least twice his size. The shirt is a lightish brown. Suteki's pants, which are also about two sizes too big, are black. The pants cover all the way down to his shoes, covering them. His hair is a light, chestnut brown, but just the top, because if his longish bangs are forced back, they reveal black hair at the bottom layer of his hair. He has a special belt around his waist with 6 numbers on it; one for each number of PokeBalls you can carry. When he presses a number on the belt, the PokeBall of that number comes out.

Personality: Suteki is a bit of a loner; he normally spent his time alone, or with his three Pokemon. He never knew his parents, because he was abounded when he was just a baby. He was raised by the Village Elder on Yggdrasil Island, where he was born. Suteki is a happy boy, even though his past was dark. Though he has his sweet side, it's his excuse for covering up the pain of his pasts, not knowing his real parents.

Forces, or Defender?: Defender.

History: Suteki was abounded as a baby, and taken in by the Village Elder of his island. When he was three, that was when he came across and injured Shellos, which he named Terra, because of it's power of the ground. After taking in the Shellos he nicknamed, other injured wild Pokemon started coming to him when the needed assistance. He was soon dubbed the "Pokemon Doctor" of the small village.

When he turned eleven, several years after he had befriended and Honchkrow and Weavile, named Commander and Crown, respectively, he and his entire village was evacuated, due to the ever looming threat of the Pokemon that were on the island. Even though he refused to leave, he was forced to, or succumb to the darkness. Now living under the supervision of the Police, Suteki has vowed to protect Yggdrasil with all of his life.

Other: N/A

Pokemon:
The first Pokemon Suteki ever had, Terra, the name of the Gastrodon, has been with Suteki for a little over a decade now. Having been one of the few lucking Pokemon to have been gifted by Yggdrasil, Terra is his owner's closest friend. Terra is the quiet one of the group, and is by far the strongest. While Crown and Commander are out on a reconnaissance mission, Terra will stay behind with Suteki. Terra is also the smartest slug out there, being able to make quick strategies, just like Commander.

Commander, named appropriately for his commanding presence, is one of Suteki's best scouts. Whether it be looking ahead for incoming trainers, or just looking for a town after traveling too long, Commander is the person, or, rather, bird, to do the job. With quick reflexes, and powerful moves, this is the one crow you do not want to fight. Quick to the battle, Commander is stealthy, and cunning, often using tricks to win battles, or to get out of the predicaments he always gets himself in.

One of the oldest member's in Suteki's arsenal, Scar, named for his head, is the start and end to any battle his owner fights. By far one of the fastest Pokemon out there, Scar often works in collaboration with Commander, making the most excellent team for scouting ever. The first to the terrain, he shows whose boss with his lightning fast attacks. Scar is signified by the scratch on his forehead gem.

Fierce and wild, Tevellik is one of the greatest fighters ever to grace their presence to Sinnoh. Sometimes very reckless, Tevellik normally charges into battle without Suteki commanding him to fight. Tevellik uses a mix of Electric attacks and physical combat to take out his opponents. He, along with Suteki, doesn't know his parents, and is the loner of the group, and is defiantly not the most outgoing Pokemon on the team. The Luxray refers himself as Suteki's personal guard.

Suteki's powerhouse, Abrax is an insanely powerful Salamence, whose life is filled with torment, and sorrow. Abrax was mocked as a Bagon, told that he would never become a powerful Dragon, even told by his parents. They abounded him, and Abrax abounded them. He traveled Sinnoh, by himself, to prove that he could become a strong Salamence one day. Upon meeting Suteki one day, is figured that he had found a Trainer who would release Abrax's full potential, and then he would leave his trainer, and show his family and friends his great power. But, inside Suteki, he found more than a coach, but he found somebody that cared for him, and loved him. Abrax vowed never to leave Suteki for the rest of his life.

This mighty beast of a Pokemon, named Tusk for his great tusks, has instilled fear into all of the opponent's that he has faced. Due to Tusk being relatively new, Suteki has yet to see much of Tusk's personality. Tusk is Suteki's preferred mode of transportation while on the ground.

Name: Eli godfrie

Age: 17

Gender: male

Appearance:

Personality: competitive, intelligent, kind, has a bad temper

Forces, or Defender?: defender

History: on his own since he was nine, eli has always been self-dependant. He found his first pokemon along a trail near snowpoint, beaten and bruised. Since then, he has become a training fanatic, training and catching whenever he isnít sleeping

Other:

Pokemon:
Infernape
The first pokemon Eli found, infernape was abandoned by itís trainer after a massive battle. Originally from the side of the dark forces, infernape knows all to well the darkness that is apptoaching. He is ready to stand and fight. To win, or die trying. Infernape knows no other way.

Staraptor
Morgenstern, the staraptor, was Eliís second pokemon he encountered. Morgenstern was looking for food and attacked eli while he was eating. Infernape took staraptor down and eli caught him. Eli took special care to Morgenstern and fought with her the most so she would grow more powerful. Morgenstern is eliís scout and strongest pokemon

Gengar
Gengar was given to Eli by a girl in snowpoint. He didnít know what he was getting when the girl handed him a bundled up parcel. When he opened it it had a pokeball, some food, and a letter saying what pokemon it was and that she could no longer care for such a dreadful creature. Gengar almost never listens to eli, but is starting to do so a little more often. Gengar runs reconnaissance and carries messages.

Name: Michalla

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Michalla has short blonde hair to her chin, usually spike in the back. Her outfit is a short black leather tank top cut off just below her chest with a thin red jacket (always left open) and the sleeves cut off. She wears one glove on her left hand, a pair of black shades and black leather pants. She'd about 4'11" tall and weighs eighty-five lbs.

Personality: Michalla is a ball of unending fire. She's brash and to the point, brutal with her fists and somewhat slow with her brain. Quick to temper and quicker to start a fight with her own fists rather than her pokemon. A rather harsh trainer, her Pokemon tend to be just as serious as she is, with a strong bond to her devil-may-care attitude.

Forces, or Defender?: Forces(?)

History: Michalla grew up in a small, backwater town on the western coast of the Sinnoh region. Her elder sister was a renowned hero among the villagers and many citizens of the Sinnoh region with her strong pokemon and odd nature. Michalla looked up to her sister more than anything, but when Rena returned one year, she vowed that she was done with her training and being a Hero. This broke poor Michalla's heart, and led her to steal the only pokemon her sister never released back into the wild.

Other: Michalla is confused, torn in a way over the forces and the defender. A loner vagabond as some have called her.

Pokemon:

Houndoom was Michalla's first pokemon, even if it was stolen property from her once beloved sister. After weeks of fighting with the beast to gain dominance and friendship, the two have become inseperable and ultimately a powerfully dynamic duo.

Scout was Michalla's first fairly caught pokemon. Though far from friendly with one another, the young trainer found herself in over her head when she mistakenly caught this high level, stubborn, ignorant bird. She later nicknamed him Scout for his keen eyes both on the sky and the rare battle on the field.

Lucario was another accident. While navigating the winding caverns of Mt. Coronet, she came across this lonesom beast who was foolish enough to come up behind her. In a panic, she threw her only pokeball and gained herself a new ally who was less than willing to join, but forced to by his nature. Through his ability, Psychic, he has the ability of speech.

You are accepted.

As for the Forces thing, that mean you're on the evil side (I say the question mark)

I put the question mark there because she prettymuch does whatever she wants. She's easily swayed one way or the other, whatever is more appealing to her.

ah. alrighty then...

Eli is something of a nomad; he'll travel for days, without stopping, and then stop somewhere full of pokemon and fight, enduring everything on his own, well, besides his pokemon. He is stubborn and sometimes he's too quick to just beat the crap out of people rather than try talking. he hates ignorance and conceited people. when he heard of these supposed "dark forces" he didn't get scared, but, rather, he was pissed off. He isn't anti-social, but he finds it hard to get along with people. When he gets the chance, he can show great compassion and endurance. He hates seeing an innocent injured. even when he fights a pokemon in the wild, he'll always give it a berry or something in apology for fighting it. Eli is kind, but has a horrible temper and is angry or sad a lot of the time. if you were to ask Eli why he is the way he is he would say "The world is on fire, how can you sleep? how can you relax?"

...is that better...? i'm new to this, so, yeah. just tryin to get the hang of it
