Default Pikachu will it become a Raichu?
In pokemon Yellow is it possible for pikachu to evolve into a raichu? I have tried but it has always refused. Is it because that pikachu never wants to evolve?

I don't own yellow and have no experience with it, but from what I've heard I think if you trade it to another game it'll evolve there, but I also think if you trade it back it then hates you. I do have the guide book though, so I'll see if theres something in there.

It won't evolve in Yellow. You have to trade it and evolve it, then trade it back.

Like in the series, Ash's Pikachu didn't want to evolve. Yellow is kinda like Ash and Pikachu so you can't evolve unless you trade it ofcourse...
