Default Timid, or Modest?

I need to know which one for a Scarfed Heatran. With Timid, its Speed is 278, and with Modest, its Speed is 253. Heres the set I'm using:

Heatran@Choice Scarf
Modest/Timid
252 Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, 6 HP
~Dragon Pulse
~Flamethrower
~Earth Power
~Dark Pulse/Stealth Rock/Filler

Hmmm...
IMO, I'd go with Timid, but it depends on the Sp. Att.
If it's a good Sp ATT then Timid,
if it's bad Sp. Att, then Modest.

But that's in my opinion though...

I was thinking of Timid... but I want to know what others think. It has massive Sp. Attack, too.

Timid.
Because a lot of Pokemon faster than you can EQ that Heatran, even Miltank.
And if Sp. Attack is high enough, then focus on the Speed game then.

I'd go with Timid, Alot of things still outrun this. I'd go for Overheat on the last slot. If not Explosion. Maybe HP: [electric]?

Yeah, but Flamethrower is 142.5 power... and HP is 140 power if it's super effective... So Timid.

Timid lets it outrun Adamant Heracross and base 90 speed (neutral natured) pokemon.
