Things can be switched inbetween translations you know, it doesnt need to fully translate back to american in Japanese, it could very well be the lightning Japanese or something other in Japan or they just want to make it a cool title I dunno. as far as putting america in there, no I dont see it at all.

~Kaim

Ps. it is spelled Americans

He happens to be an American character... it doesn't have to mean anything.

Also, please cut down on the pointless threads.

Surge is an American character. It's just a silly stereotype.

Also, yes America exists in the world of Pokemon, because Mew was discovered in a jungle in South America according to the research logs in the Pokemon Mansion.

The pokemon world takes place in Japan. There is a actual area called Kanto. And a different place next to it (Know as Johto in the pokemon world). Hoenn takes place on the lower island of Japan called Kyushu. Turn the Hoenn map and see the resemblence. And Sinnoh takes place in the upper island of Hokkaido.
So seeing this South America Russia America are most likely in the game.

It is stereotype and a little humorous how they made the only American in the game a war enthusiast. Whether it was done out of mockery or innocently, other countries all share the same belief that all Americans love violence, guns, war and power.
