Favorite Legendary Trio

I did not find this topic in a search so I apologize if it already exists.

What is you all time favorite legendary trio? For those that do not know, every pokemon generation so far has had a legendary trio or three legendary Pokemon based of of one another or at least close to it. Below are the trio's from all generations.

Kanto Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres
Johto Raikou, Entei, Suicune
Hoenn Regirock, Regice, Registeel
Sinnoh Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf
Unova Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus

My favorite Legendary Trio would have to be Generation Two (Johto) those legendaries are the ones that everyone knows about and even the younger generation knows alot about.

I suppose it would have to be the classic Kanto trio of birds.
I have a strong hatred for almost all things Sinnoh, with Uxie, Mespirit and Azelf being no exception.

Do the mascot trios count? Such as Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza, Dialga/Palkia/Giratina, and Reshiram/Zekrom/Kyurem?

Also, you didn't include the musketeer trio: Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion.

At any rate, my favourite trio would have to be the legendary beasts.

I love the 3 legendary dogs,
Rakiou, Entei, and Suicine.

Raikou, Suicune, and Entei. I've always liked them better than the others, and still do! I like Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres, too, but not as much as the three legendary beasts, though. So those three (Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres) would've to be my second favorite. As for the others, they are okay, but they're not my favorites. ^^'

I have to agree, you forgot to put in the legendary Dragon trio (Palkia, Dialga & Giratina, as they are intertwined with each other (Time, Space, Dimension))

However, my primary favorite trio is the legendary dogs/cats (They do look like a cross between canine and feline), with Entei as my personal favorite.

Me and you are in the same type of boat haha, I love the legendary dogs but I also have a strong liking for the trio of birds as well. :)

@Mew, The trio's are based off of the franchising trios meaning the trios that are mentioned from there generation and not forgotten about. You could include the dragon trio but it would fit better as it's own thread, game cover legends are not what are really considered a franchising legend.

Initially I was torn between the musketeers or the Regis, but since we have no Musketeers here, it's easily the Regis. The reason being they have no faces, so it's fun to imagine how they feel without their faces, not to mention they are all very defensive Pokemon.

The birds. soley based on the fact that I caught Zapdos once on mistake and swept through the That Ice chick in Blue.

for some reason when i 1st seen the 3 dogs i thought they had Poo on thier back, dont get me wrong they are a power house, but its stuck in my mind, i always call those 3 the Poo backs or Poo dogs..

I always had a awesome time with the Regis, & then Gigas too.

i never did much with the Lake trio

and on another note im going to have to go with the 3 Lakitu look alikes.

Nice! It's cool to see someone that has the 5th generation trio there favorite, I like the 5th generation trio and they are awesome to use! But I like using the older trios more :)

I'm the only one that likes the pixies? :[ Azelf and Mesprit are my favourites especially, Uxie is cool but to a lesser extent.

Yeah, I agree as far as looks my favorite would have to be Azelf then Mesprit and that leaves Uxie last, the Sinnoh Trio was cool but definitely not a favorite for me :)

Definitely the Musketeers, because they're based on a fairly new concept for Legendary Pokemon, and because it's about time the Fighting-type got the kind of attention that only Legendary Pokemon can bring.
