Hey... could anyone help me with an idea of what I should make into a pixel art? I'm in need of doing something pixel-related that's actually worth my time....
*points up at quote* ^I'd appreciate a few different ideas from a few different people. ^^; Specific ideas would be quite nice. ;3

I think the program, GIMP, can make animation. I dunno about Photoshop, because I don't have it. xDD But, I'm sure you can make animation with GIMP. There's some tuts about it.

You can make animations in Animation Shop 3. (I find it's very simple and easy to use.)

The above link is your Sprite Shop, Raichu. =D

I, personally, am ALWAYS lost on what to sprite, and requests in shops, normally, are either too hard, or just plain boring.

So, I have an idea - why not create an idea-exchange thread? For example, say one person had an idea that they couldn't get right, they could post it in the thread, and someone else could 'adopt' it. Obviously, they can change it afterwards.

Anyone know how to rip sprites? I know how to use an emulator and screen cap it...

But Pokemon such as Arceus sprites went way up before it was anounced or availible in game..

And the sprites go up so fast on major websites.... Such as Serebii has HG/SS sprites up already... Veekun does do..

You'll need to recolor each frame individually. In an animated gif, each frame of the animation is saved at a separate layer, so you will have to recolor layer by layer. I am not an expert, so I probably didn't answer in the way you had hoped.

You could make all the frames in paint or whatever you use first then put them into gimp, no? Like photoshop which i learnt alittle it animates as well, or macromedia flash, you need the indivisual actions, second by second. (This is just a suggestion, i do not know of any better ways.)

Try pokemon that are at different evolution stages, such as Seedot and Ledian. Make sure they're not too powerhousey.

And that sounds like a good idea, but I don't completely understand what you're saying.
