Here is the link to what I said about naming the pokemon a certain way like all lower case. It shows a regular Pikachu and two Pikachu's that are shiny because they were named a certain way. Scroll down on the link to see. This may say google images, but it is connected to a website that explains about getting shiny pokemon.
I started a new game in my Leaf Green, and I'm trying to get a shiny Charmander as my starter. Here's what I've done:
- Saved right in front of the Charmander on the desk in Oak's lab.
- Click 'A'.
- If it's not shiny, I soft reset.
I think I'm just unlucky, since I have done this so many times and haven't encountered a shiny Charmander on his desk, but I wanted to make sure I was doing this right.
actually it won't show up on the picture it brings up, you have to wait until it's in your party and then you look at it's summary and then you can tell if it's a shiny
No idea about evee, but it works for most legends, It wont work on lati@s in ruby sapphire or emerald, unless you got the event version one via some ticket to go to some Island. I don't know if it will work on legendary dogs, but the stationary and event legendaries are supposed to work this way.
theres a 1 in 8 thousand something chance of getting a shiny, i have only once encountered a shiny pokemon, that was in pokemon crystal where a rapidash with blue flames appeared, but i had no way of catching it
I do not support the use of ubers...ok i don't support using ubers alot cuz they are just too powerful,
I mean it is fun to tear you enemies to shreds but it just takes no skill to ohko everyone
