Okay, maybe that "exactly" didn't make that much sense. I should've put some stupid number up there... But I HATE math.
Can someone post the number?

It adgitates me not knowing.

It's my second day chaining and my highest chain reached the amazing number of 28 (ponyta). I used shuko's guide and its pretty easy if you're focused.

I didnt know about the chain breaking if a patch goes off the screen tho. It's the explanation I was looking for for some random pokemon that were breaking my chains. Thanks

These are the best directions I've ever tried. I chained 74 Ralts, and saw three shinies. One was a girl, lonely nature, which really annoyed me because I am going to use a Gallade. Another was male, but it had the timid nature. The third I ran out of pokeballs.

Oh, and I figured out how to calculate your odds.

In order to get your percentage of getting a shiny, put the current amount of your chain (lets say its 40) over 8192, so on your calculator or computer, put 40/8192. My calculator automatically puts it in decimal form, as most do. If you round, the percentage is 0.0049% .

If you wanted a fraction of your odds, do 8192 devided by your chain. (lets once again say its 40, do 8192 devided by 40)
If you round, you should get 1/205, which is why its a good number to stop at.)

This I am pretty certain about, but its not been confirmed by nintendo yet. :)

Can someone please go into a little more detail on the "Resetting the Radar" section for me?

Edit: My little brother just got a shiny Sphinx off of a chain of 4! He's so lucky!

In need of a reliable IV breeder/ EV trainer. Will pay well (shinies/Alamos Darkrai/Gamestp Deoxys). PM me.
